I just realized I forgot to explain about the reforging tabs!

Those are a place to dump items with shitty affixes. Using the reforging bench, you can take 3 of the same item, smash them together, and create a new rerolled item. I restricted it to level 45+ because I don't really see much of a need for lower level items, due to all the good stuff we have in the stash libraries already.

What to do: If you have a level 45+ item and don't need to salvage or sell it, stick it in there. If you're looking to reforge a specific item, take from that tab and try your luck!

That's awesome! Thanks for all the work with the guild, boys! I've never been a part of one in all of my years of ARPG gaming and it feels good. Also nice to see how this game is blowing up everywhere. 1.0 will kill their servers again lol. 6 new weapons/classes, twice the game, more and more refinement. This game is special and will only improve.

Yo, new patch is live. Bad news for me on my work wifi. 672.1 kb/s. 20 min or so to wait.

I screwed up because I forgot I had a steam account linked to POE1 (under an ID I forgot I had). Now I have two accounts, 1 linked to steam and the other linked to PSN. I cannot unlink either one of them so I sent an email to support to unlink my steam account so I can add it to my new account.
Still no reply from my support request. I wonder why they don't just provide an UNLINK button where the CONNECT button is.

Maxroll's passive tree skill planner seems good. It might have saved me a lot of gold this past week if I had use it haha

Uhh that's literally just as scary as the in-game skill tree, lol.

But it does answer at least one question I had... As in what is the max amount of skill points you get over the course of a character. So looks like 123 plus 24 weapon set specific for each weapon set.

In PoE1 is it kind of the same thing? Does the set max stay at 123+24 for instance or will there be more skill points as they release expansions and the like?

Surely someone has made or will make a more.. simplified version of the skill tree... as in this cluster over here is elemental resists, this cluster over here is all about buffing chaos damage, this cluster over here is all about making your attacks faster...

Ah I see.

Looking at Reddit now. Lots of unhappy posts. They should give everyone a scroll of respec after every patch.

Everyone does have a free respec. It's called rolling a new character.

I think the scroll should maybe appear a day or 2 later because what GGG really want is for people to play the nerfed builds to see if they are now more balanced or if the change went too far the other way. If people get a free respec straight away then they just immediately change the build and GGG don't get that testing data.

As for my warrior, I welcome the boneshatter hit buff, it was a bit annoying when you had the prepared for stun proc on 1 mob in a cluster and you whiffed the hit on that mob as it's mates tore you limb from limb.

Ah, yes, that's a good point.

True, that was annoying.

I guess don't make builds that revolve around being a one-trick pony and getting shocked when it gets nerfed because it was overtuned in Early Access. I don't think a free respec is necessary if you get enough gold to respec anyway? I don't see much use in using gold in any other way if you just farm for drops and mutator orbs and runes for it's "crafting" system.

Kripp's thoughts are interesting.

This is definitely interesting stuff. It's not all bad news as I'm loving this game and what I can get out of it and the promise of far more of it with 1.0 excites the living shit out of me. I'm fine with the fact that I'm not able to see or get the benefit of every bit of every game, including this one.

Bypassing: I'm always pretty wary in these kinds of games when it becomes possible to negate the difficulty and bypass the journey by doing anything other than putting the hours in. Thinking back to a few games where I played for weeks or months on my own then others joined in when they got away from their usual Destiny or COD addictions, only to see them want and get hard carries/leeched gear, skipping a whole load of the content/process/enjoyment and the inevitable getting bored in a matter of days. First Descendent and Outriders recent/ish examples where my old Destiny bros jumped in and out pretty quick not having experienced the games as they should doing the grind for themselves.

Dodge roll end game: Not sure the end game would ever be something I'd really get deep into in any game, I'd usually just dip my toe to see what's up. There's so much to play so moving on to something else is usually the way. Seems here though I'd be physically unable to ever get very far anyway if it's going to mean having the reactions of a cat ; not getting any younger and a number of physical hand issues mean there's some things I'd never be able to do again worth shit, so certain games/styles of play are just off limits. It's why I gravitate to games that either offer ranged/strategic/slower-paced game play, allow over-levelling that I can abuse, or just have options for different play styles that do not require quick/precise aim with a right stick. I already know there's plenty here to make playing this game worth it for me with so much more to come. Some classes there's no point me even trying, no big deal. Not being compatible with the far reaches of end game isn't a problem either, I'll see where I end up. I can see why it won't suit everyone and likely a large amount of players who rely on tankiness will not be happy.

It's crazy to me how limited the cosmetics are at any one time. I went to weapon cosmetics and there are only 3 and none for Warrior weapons. Is this always how it is? Also, I hope with this new graphics engine they have hired some better artists because the cosmetics leave a lot to be desired after getting used to D4's.

Balbala down in one, but damn that was the toughest boss fight so far. Btw, you can type /deaths in chat to see how many times you've died. I'm at 3 so far with Warrior.

So you're telling me for once I create a build by myself, without following any guide and they nerf me to the ground?
I was going for a cast on crit/cast on shock build, guess I'll have to rethink everything...
Back to the meta I guess... What's a good monk build? :p

If they wanted to nerf using low level skills for procs they should have nerfed that instead of all the procs together.
Like a streamer said it looks like a panic patch, they've seen someone do too much damage with low level skills used as buffs and felt they had to react fast.
Easier than implement a system that nerf procs when there's a too big difference of level between the character and the skills.
Instead of making you upgrade your skills they made everybody ditch cast on x builds...

Its an early access game. If you dont like a game thats gonna change probably monthly, just wait until the full release
I think there's a bit of overreaction from players, when you read forums it's like everybody was lv100 and need 500k to respec.
My build is far from finished (level 45) and what I play still works to clear maps, the build i was going for might be nerfed but I don't feel it that much at my level, I'll see how it goes against bosses.

The Ice sorcerer build is completely dead. Does GG expect people to spend hours farming gold every patch notes to respec?

Agreed. To add to this and keep expectations in line with their plans, they've said that they don't like making changes in terms of buffs and nerfs once a season has started, because they don't like to upset players. They'll make changes at the start of each season, but they're not going to mess with things randomly. So keep that in mind, but also consider that their real goal right now is to find a healthy starting point for when the game is officially released.

I am stuck on act 2 traitor boss now for few days, any tipps?

And whoever decided that when you die the whole map is reset with enemies should be fired. Such a bad gamedesign.

If it's the boss with the poison gas that comes from the center hole; run around to detect her right after she goes stealth, but avoid her initial attack she does when she re-appears.

I kinda like it, because I can grind some more before trying again on bosses.
It really sucks when you just killed some rare elite that dropped valuable loot, but died to some bullshit post-death mod. The loot you should've gotten basically disappears infront of your eyes. I also don't like that it takes away an opportunity to do better against rare elites that didn't die and killed you, and I feel it goes against the 'difficult' design principle of the game. Here's a giant boss that can 1 shot you, have fun with the x amount of attempts, yet this rare elite that killed you? Sorry, we'll just replace him.
Also grinding the same maps only goes so far, since the XP drop off is pretty harsh I feel.

Man I hate the map reset. I thought they were going to patch in a warp from checkpoint to checkpoint this patch. So annoying.

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
Stuck at work, having fantasies about how cool it would be to get some whiskey and cocaine and spend all those rare orbs I have all at once.

To the guild stash! All the nice sorc stuff I found while leveling, I put in the guild stash.
I thought about it but I want to stick to ssf for as long as possible. Hopefully it'll help with their data for adjusting drop rates as well.

I'm not doing terribly with gear, just seeing way more quality drops for other classes than my own.
