I'm gonna try two more classes and them I'm going to be out of your hair.

On the Ranger, what type of gear does that class generally skew towards? Armor and Evasion, or Evasion and Energy Shield?

Either of those, or just pure evasion. In the early game don't worry about it too much. Just use what's in the guild stash and that should suffice.

K seems I either have to stop playing endgame or engage with the trade system. I get better rewards at my dentist at the end of my tooth cleaning.
Also I ran a map 3 times at tier 1, 2, 4, didn't notice a huge difficulty difference, except I got one shot repeatedly right at the end with no indication of wtf happened.
Nothing is more rewarding than doing a rather enormous map and then getting 1 shot at the end :(

So, quick question:

I dropped that +100 Spirit Unique chest armor in the guild stash the other day.
Didn't like the overall stats and looks of the armor.

Would it be possible that there are other unique chest armor that could drop with +100 Spirit, or would it be specific to this unique armor piece?

Not really sure how the concept of unique items in PoE works.

I'm pretty sure that's the only one. But you can get at least 50 as an affix for regular body armors. Mine has 50 spirit on it. I also wear a solar amulet with spirit on it too.

You should trade. Trading is OP.

That's shit design then. Imo. Probably a key-factor that might put me off the game. Limited variety in the loot pool and no transmog.

As for Spirit itself, I'm not too worried about it. If 50 is max on items, I'm cool with that as well.
Can still make necro work.

Was just hoping there would possibly be a +100 Spirit unique Bone Armor chest piece or something. Lol

How is this done? I have a premium tab, I named it Trade, then I put things in there and set a price? How do I see other players tabs?

Anyway, I figured out enemies do not have a leash in this game. I came across an elite pack that was invulnerable. The had a regen affix, but even when I killed them, including using Killing Palm, they would just resurrect and keep chasing me to the end of the map, lol!

So, each Trial grants us 2 skill points for our ascendancy?

Was respeccing some passives thinking I could use them for my Blood Mage skills, but guess not.

So, 6 ascendancy skill points is what are able to unlock for now?
8 points in total (same as PoE) - but the last 2 points are gated behind a very very difficult fight - you can look it up on youtube, but I'm resigned to never beating it :)

Question about Lost Towers, they don't even have rares?
People said they sucked because they don't have other leagues but it looks like a complete waste to even use a blue map on them.

I just traded this for 1 exalt. Nice.

If I'm looking to spend some coin on the Guild, what is it most in need of at the moment?

Hmm, I guess we could always use more quad tabs. We're going to need more eventually to build our gear library as more of us get to endgame.

If there's anything in particular you want to buy specifically for the guild, let me know and I'll get it.

Do I understand well:

On this part of the map, to get level 2 maps, I should do a level 2 rare map on the boss west of the tower I am atm, but I can use level 1 maps (good ones >100%) on all the normal places corrupted/irradiated (keeping bosses until I activate more towers).

I was thinking of something like this to optimize getting level 2 maps while keeping some bosses/corrupted areas for when the 3 towers are activated:

I think my dumbass is starting to figure this out. My lvl 6 Ranger, Lilly Winterswift, is figuring out Lightning Archery. I paid attention to my Skill Gems and Support Gems and have Lightning skills working together, I'm working on two planned paths in the Passives tree, and a Bow with Lightning damage from the Guild is carrying me. Press R2 to obliterate trash mobs! Ha. I've mixed in some Poison since it's available and I'm low level, but it will eventually be replaced as needed or desired by more Lightning. I know this won't last long, but I'm cruising through Red Vale. Maybe I am starting to understand the game mechanics. Now I just need the loot! haha

Wow you can sure buy a lot of lesser jeweler's orbs for just one chaos orb

Okay, so Greater Jeweler's Orbs (upgrade your skills to 4 sockets) are going for 20 Chaos Orbs.

I bought 12 Lesser Jeweler's Orbs for 1 Chaos Orb.

I used 7 Lesser Jeweler's Orbs on 7 skill gems, and then 7 Vaal Orbs (corruption) on those. I bricked 6 of them, but one of them turned into a 4 socket skill gem.

I'd say that's economical.

Good to hear! Take it slow and steady, and learn the gameplay as you go along. Loot will come, but if you need a boost, just grab some gear from the guild stash gear library!

Any success with Vaal Orbs on maps?

edit: lol it was a 70%

I haven't tried them on maps yet. I figure the best cost/benefit to me right now is getting my gem sockets higher, which is good since I'm gemling, and can get +1 max rez for each support gem.
Yeah greater jeweller's orbs aren't cheap, I only have one skill at 4 atm. Didn't think of Vaal Orbs, I might try.

tl;dr crafting is arse, trading seems ridiculously game-breaking and shit on console.

Trying to search the trade site on console and accidentally cancelling out of the browser is 🤬🤬🤬 Fuck knows how much hassle it'd be to actually make the trade using this alone and the clunky messaging features.

Just a bit conflicted on this whole trading vs. crafting approach the game has. Crafting seems crap - a waste of time and resources. So I just don't bother. I get the idea of trying to make low tier drops potentially worthwhile, but nah, fuck that it's boring and unrewarding.

It's clear trading is the only effective path to real progress - quick af with minimal cost for incredible stuff that's exactly what you want. The whole bypassing of what I think of as a large part of these games in naturally dropping or refining stuff is just so alien though.

Trading needs to be a lot more streamlined on console and hopefully will be by the final game's release. What's there now is a hacky/botchy shoulder shrug of a solution for console players that have no other device on hand. Lots of stuff on console is an afterthought, and that's understandable as it's all secondary until a full release when PC is the lead platform. One example is tool tips on the atlas map being impossible to interact with, making the whole game mode feel very WTF when all you have is trial and error or go search 3rd party resources.

For trading to work for here I'm going to have go to the other side of the room, sit at my computer, spin the huge TV over this way yet still crane my neck, and be there, pad in hand ready to make it happen in-game. Nah, I'm good for now, lol. Maybe that's good enough for early access/beta, but for final there needs to be a dedicated app at the very least, but better still just a fully featured in-game version of what the site does and more (like simply automating the process as with currency trading) when there's no good reason why not. PC players can have a trade done and dusted before I could get off my arse and even make it to my desk :D I'll give it a go in the next few days or so though.

I'm at the 'do 10 x t3+ maps' quest on my lvl 72 warrior, but I'm not progressing gear-wise as all the magic and rare drops are just shit. Also it seems Sekhema's lvl 3 is still off the table as well as ultimatum 10, which prevents me from getting some much needed scaling ascendancy nodes. Haven't felt like running into a wall like this before.
So It feels like I must use the trade website, which I'm really not a fan of. Is there a reason why there's no in-game auction house and was this a conscious decision by GGG? Wouldn't that be the biggest QoL for everyone?

High demand for divine orbs, just sold one for 50 exalts.
Good tip, value still rising, just sold one for 76 exalts.

Also, I feel this deserves more attention: upgrade the gems in your passive tree nodes. They can really give you nice bonuses. I didn't bother upgrading yet, and had magic gems in the tree, as well as a few sitting in my stash. Upgraded them, now they have stuff like +% block, +% melee, +% ignite, +%damage on magic/rare mobs.

I don't get how random the difficulty seems with maps of the same rating... do the tower buffs really increase difficulty or is my shitty build just very situational? Some tier 4 and 5 maps are a breeze, others I'm getting sent home literally in seconds.

So, I saw that Lord's of the Fallen had a recent update that supposedly made the game feel better. Better movement and combat so I tried it out. Played for a couple of hours. It was ok, not sure it felt much better but I did think the random loot and enemies feature was cool.

I went back to PoE 2 and had a better appreciation for how good this game feels. It puts an action game, that should technically feel better, to shame. An isometric ARPG has no business feeling this good.

I swear if it had a third person camera the monk would feel better to play than Wukong. The skills are so good. I found armor that gives me enough spirit for a second passive. It's essentially like the Wukong roll where you leave a clone of yourself that only lasts a split second and if an enemy hits it I get a power charge. It rewards last second dodges since that is when an enemy will hit it. And I have a second passive called Wind Dancer so even if I do get hit, the enemy takes 250% of their damage reflected in an area.

They really hit it out of the park with the skill synergies. With more and more skills and support gems coming, the combinations will be endless.

I think it also might be the way I play too lol 😂

During party play I should not try to pull the whole screen 😆

BTW are you using Wind Dancer and Acrobatics on the Ranger?
Idk it's just like... boom one shot, dead on some white mob wolf pos. But yes for wind dancer, no on acrobatics. I got like 79% evade but don't really wanna grab that until I get some higher evade.

Currently going through Cruel Act 1.

I enjoyed Acts 1 to 3 although it needs improvement in terms of making Maps more fun and interesting, especially with how big they are.
Not enough secrets and activities or story moments to keep each map interesting.
A lot of act 3 maps felt even more unfinished/empty and I hope they can really improve this.

Ascendancy 1 and 2 (not got to 3/4 yet) was exciting when it came around but over too quick. I wish there was something similar but fit between each of the ascend points.
Act 1 to 3 and what I've played of cruel so far feels very easy. As I'm new to POE I'm guessing the campaign is spose to be easy and the real challenge is of course end game maps etc

Anyway still having fun, I hope we can do ACT 4-6 with characters who have completed Cruel campaign. I will leave starting a new class until i know whats happening with that.

I have two # Accounts showing on POE website when I use my email log in. If I buy a premium stash on one will it be also on my other # account? The one have coins on is not the one Ive been playing POE2 on.
I emailed support few days ago but no response.

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
New guys, you should try PoE1...It has 10x the content PoE2 has :)
Tried it a few years ago and it didn't grab me like the sequel. I feel like poe2 is much better for new comers or just people who like to play without looking online for builds.

Game gave me an ARPG itch tho, might look into Grim Dawn later, heard that one is cool too.
