I think the OG Xbox Ones did that. Cant remember.I always assumed the consoles in the tiny boxes were dummy units with real hardware somewhere hidden. I guess not
The pic I saw earlier had it fully enclosed in a tiny plastic case. Should have cut some air holes in it at the very least.
I've been to 2 best buys here in nyc and they didn't have any on display which is why I was asking. I figured for this to happen the case would have to be small
This is exactly the situation.I always assumed the consoles in the tiny boxes were dummy units with real hardware somewhere hidden. I guess not
Wtf why is it so small lol. That shit is gonna explodeThe pic I saw earlier had it fully enclosed in a tiny plastic case. Should have cut some air holes in it at the very least.

Shots firedNintendo Switch in the same situation would still be for children.
That's not the PS5 that's running. The real PS5 is behind the TV.Wtf why is it so small lol. That shit is gonna explode

Which makes it overheating even worse if it isn’t in a closed off space.
Ps5 overheating picture fake

It's the one they overlaid the alignment grids on.Is it this one?

Does anyone work at best buy know how the ps5 is set up in a koisk? I ask because someone on twitter posted about a ps5 overheating in the store.
I didn't even know there was one which is why I asked about it. I searched ps5 over heating and nothing came up. I saw it from an article on FacebookHow many threads talking about this do we need?
There is an exhaust fan on top of the enclosure, but not sure if that helps.
I mean you do the same grid line thing on the image with the enclosure and you can see the same thing surely soTake a picture of a grid pattern using your phone at home. Many phones have a slight fisheye effect. I've noticed this on more than one phone I've owned.
I'd be MUCH quicker to blame the design of this enclosure behind the TV than a photoshop conspiracy.
They should try put it in an oven next time. The pic I saw earlier had it fully enclosed in a tiny plastic case. Should have cut some air holes in it at the very least.

They don't make clear plastic boxes big enough for that monstrosity. Clear box manufacturers did not anticipate such a large console in their future road map. They assumed, like everything else tech, that consoles would get smallerWtf why is it so small lol. That shit is gonna explode
Surprised me that the plastic case didn't get charred. lol.The pic I saw earlier had it fully enclosed in a tiny plastic case. Should have cut some air holes in it at the very least.

Its actually behind the TV in a metal case. What's to debunk, it did overheat. Dunno why sony would design the display like this.Hasn't this been debunked? It's just Xbox fanboys looking for a win after the ps5 reviews are positive.

That’s some solid ray tracingYeah looking at the pictures you can see the same reflections in all of them. I'm guessing it's probably fake.
Yet every review we have had today puts in equal to the xsx. Grow up. This ain't the hill to die on.Its actually behind the TV in a metal case. What's to debunk, it did overheat. Dunno why sony would design the display like this.
