I also once hung up on a girl I knew, who called me to tell me she's on her period and that she felt like shit. I'd find people like that annoying myself. I have a few female friends who play games too, and none of them are like that. Most serious female gamers don't really like to be treated special or differently or go out of their way to tell everyone that they are female. Those that do are basically attention whores, imo. But then again, people might accuse me of the same, seeing as how I have girl in my ID. *sigh* I wish there was a way to change it. I could make a new ID, but I don't know if I'm willing to go through the painful procedure of thinking of a unique ID again, and I refuse to add xXxX at the start and end of my ID. I'm turning into a bit of a trophy whore, and I really don't want to start all over again.

I used to type things out perfectly with capitalization and all before I got really tired of dealing with it. Occasionally there's some obscure internet usage that requires bad spelling too, but my guess is that my GF doesn't get it and just thinks I talk like an idiot.

I never said abbreviations were stupid, or I don't use them...

What I meant was that I refuse to shorten words unnecessarily, and I even gave examples that most people use in texts that are NOT abbreviations, and again, imo are unnecessary. Like I said, ur, da, hru, u are not appropriate abbreviations. It's not the same.

It's like saying PSN Identification instead of ID. We all use abbreviations, even the most obnoxious grammar police on GAF.
