If you are banne duration pending, you still get a preliminary date, but they add something like "pending admin review" to your ban message. After review, the ban either stays unchanged, gets prolonged, or is made permanent.

They aren’t bleeding users, as much as it’s been stagnant since the initial move.

For every user they ban they approve 10 but their number still fluctuates lower.

There’s no way to stop or stem it other then to sit back and wait for the community to implode on itself.

As far as driving traffic here, we’ll thats a double edged sword I care not to get into. I kind of like the smaller community here now, and I’d hate to see it regress back to where it used to be, but at the same time the more the merrier.

We're somewhere in the middle but problem here is for better or for worse the forum has lost its identity if you get me. It's not immediately obvious where we stand for someone new.
I'll be honest I lurked on this forum for a few days before joining to get a feel for it and I decided this was the gaming place for me.
I love the way the forum is now don't get me wrong but if this forum gets popular again you better expect some of the extremes.

Multiple developers have come out against Era and have either been banned or unverafied. The few that stick around are the ones who are deeply entrenched in the far/regressive left authoritarian mindset.

There's no discussion or debate to be had there. I understand moderating or banning complete shitheads or trolls but it's out of control there.

What's hilarious is that there was a recent poll asking will you still buy THQ Nordic games after the 8ch incident and like 80% of the poll voted "yes, I will still buy their games I don't care" which triggered the fuck out of them. It just goes to show the majority of people there aren't extremely PC they just have to hide in the shadows and not post otherwise they will get banned.

In South Korea, although it's not as common, you get people saying openly racist or sexist remarks and it's considered normal.

In South Korea the biological differences between a man and a woman are so open and extreme compared to the West.
