Rumor: Vast majority of developers at Ubisoft are “deadweight” and “they don’t know how to do anything” other than “pushing social change.”

Made-up culture warrior bullshit, the sole idea of determining anything like this over like 20K employees is pretty laughable.
Plus, they keep mentioning Ubisoft this and Ubisoft that; which Ubisoft, exactly? There are people out there who really believe that there's just a single Ubisoft company that develops all those games?

Exactly!!!

Apparently, guys merc brand is Fat Man Gaming.

I will forever stand by the idea that fat people don't deserve basic human rights, so it's always nice to get confirmation that I am right 😌

Now that the brain rot is starting to be burned away from the industry, it's pretty funny to see how all these "anti-woke" grifting beggars will be the ones fighting to keep "woke" alive, otherwise their whole shtick just ends.

This is why we have examples like that youtube loser getting into law suits with the prostitute from kotaku, all so they could beg for money. Both "sides" need each other in order for the grift to work.

I believe in the fire, tho 🔥

I've lived in France, the country just isn't very woke. Stuff like trans shit, racial preferences, etc never took off there like they did in the US or northern Europe.

But yeah this being the Canadian branch makes sense.
I'm a Swiss-French guy so I live next to them and I hear and see a lot of things about them. They've got a huge part of north african immigrants due to their collonial past, And so social justice was inevitable there because of culture clash. Gender identy came with it and it's even more annoying in our language because it's heavily dependant on every nouns being of feminine or masculine gender.

Well in most companies we know 20% do 80% of the work so that's not surprising. We also know these days and especially the types in tech, you get more activist type of people. It's just an industry wide problem with the activism entering games but it's a lifelong problem as far as a small minority doing the majority of work in a business.

“Then there's the what he refers to as the good developers, but they don't have brands. They don't tweet,” he relayed. “And he calls himself one of these developers. They make up a small portion of those developers that are still left at Ubisoft. The problem is while they're good they don't have names so they can't get jobs anywhere else.”

Sorry but what a load of nonsense.

People have portfolios, CVs, a LinkedIn - whether you tweet or are publicly visible has absolutely fuck all to do with how employable you are. In fact, if this 'insider' wasn't a pussy and aired all of this on main, he'd find it's actually the opposite where the more vocal you are about these things on social media then the more your career will suffer.

Laughable how he has to qualify that he's "one of the good ones" as well. He's probably the janitor.
