LmaoooooSounds like the dude needs to chill out a bit.
Shouldn't there be many more, thanks to Project X Zone?
Or are you only counting fighting games?
I still await the day on which he faces the likes of Scorpion and Sub-Zero.
Until then, it'll only be in my dreams...

I love this so much.Added. I'll add anyone I forgot. The list must be comprehensive so our grandchildren can look at Ryu's fight record and marvel.
Thread title says video game characters, yet you counted Marvel and Tatsunoko characters as well?
Hahaha, I forgot how crazy you can get with the roster size in mugen. Good times.Only 300?
mugen
Point taken. If it were me though I'd probably word the title slightly differently. They're in a video game. Would you not count ROB as a video game character? He was originally a physical object.
So...what happens if he beats everyone?
He beats himself.
Do you actually fight established characters in those games, or do you only fight random enemies? All the gameplay videos I've seen show the characters fighting original enemies and not themselves.
not really a fair fight, SF fighters destroy boulders and walls, DB characters destroy planets.Inevitably we'll get Dragonball vs Street Fighter and that number will grow.
Sounds like the dude needs to chill out a bit.
Doesn't make sense for either developer. I don't think we'll ever see that.not really a fair fight, SF fighters destroy boulders and walls, DB characters destroy planets.
i think street fighter vs mortal kombat makes more sense
Someone hasn't watched Asura's Wrath. Ryu wrecks the Moonnot really a fair fight, SF fighters destroy boulders and walls, DB characters destroy planets.

"Ryu has fought over 200 video game characters, then became discontent and decided to cross multimedia dimensions to battle comic book and anime characters" doesn't fit in the thread title though. Though if you think about it, Ryu has fought characters from video games, comic books, anime, movies (SF the Movie), and actual real life objects (ROB). That's even more bad ass.Point taken. If it were me though I'd probably word the title slightly differently.
SOMEONE has a lot of time on their hands. and i don't mean Ryu..

and Akuma destroys it
There's a reason there was no MK vs. DC 2. An MK that can't be gory isn't what MK fans want, and there's no way Capcom is gonna let Netherrealm brutally maim the Street Fighter cast. (And I don't blame them.)probably not, but why doesn't it make sense? tekken vs street fighter happened. mk vs dc happened. the most popular two fighters makes more sense to me than those.
leveled a rock formation. i wouldnt say he wrecked the moon.

There's no middle ground that would be interesting enough for either company to pursue.
You think the boss characters from those games are just random mooks? They're actual characters. Your list is missing an entire Bandai section.Do you actually fight established characters in those games, or do you only fight random enemies? Now if only he found away to defeat his own poverty. On a related note, I guess we realize the secret powers the mysterious martial arts Gouken passed on to his students.
Like being able to breath in space and walk on the moon.
