FSB is most likely monitoring internet one way or the other. All ISPs have to report to the government etc. VPN is not 100% guarantee.
I'm not sure video game is worth massive consequences.

I have a feeling my 2080 Super will likely suffer with this, but I’ll be switching back and forth between it and Xbox anyhow. Very interested to see both the performance and visual quality on Series X.

For those who didn't play the originals and want to know what happened, there's a pretty lengthy video for the first game plot, also liked how the video narrating the plot
For the rest of the games, might watch this short video (Yeah everyone in the comments laughing about him saying Sterlock and not Strelock, but still good and short enough to be up to speed)
The games doesn't have a lot of cutscenes.

There's no way to buy it on GOG, SWIFT and Russian cards not working and the game page is not available on GOG.Buy it on gog, play offline...and dont tell anybody (except us here).
Even if I'll create Steam account for other region, I'll still leave a trace of the payment from my card cuz I need to add funds to Steam account somehow and it is the only way.
In other words it's fucked up, but we have to pay somehow for everything Putin is doing using the name of our country and people who don't support him at all and can't speak freely. So yeah, I'd say it's fair and I've no problems with it

If this someone is not from Russia, paying for a game / gift without using a Russian credit card and it can be gifted to a Russian account, I think it is safe cuz there will be no trace and there's no way they'll be checking absolutely every Russian on Steam. Ultimate edition will not activate at all though, only Standard and Deluxe.
It's fuckin' sucks when there no pre-load and you have to download almost 200 gigs on launch day.

Excited to be so close to playing a new Stalker game after 15 years of wait. Hope it manages to capture the atmosphere of the previous 3 games and doesn't fall into the trappings of modern open world shooters too much. Also hoping it's not an absolute mess on the technical side of things

Maybe i wasn't clear, i know that the pc version has that stuff, i don't know if the pc gamepass version also have it.
In the past some games on gamepass pc had worse performance or less settings than the steam version.
Pc gamepass version also has way longer times for patches and hotfixes.

Guaranteed buy for me! This will be my first Stalker game. Just waiting to see how performance is on Xbox. If it’s good, I’ll buy it day 1, otherwise I’ll wait a month or 2 for the patches to kick in.
There’s rumors of a hefty Day 1 patch so hopefully that makes things smooth enough.
