The only part where Stalker really show its age is in the character models and animations.

The environment holds up pretty well and modded Stalker is perfectly playable today.

In my mind the first Stalker looked like Stalker 2. Nostalgia is the strongest gpu. The video soon corrected my old perception. Man the lighting is fantastic in 2. Can't fucking wait. Looking forward to the nocturnal thunderstorms while getting chased by a pack of mutant pitbulls.
