Anybody else get the feeling that this was the "finish it out" show for PS3? If PS4 is going to be shown next year, I think that would account for the lack of "surprises" or updates on games that no one knows what is happening with (FFvXIII).

Kinda like when a car company plans on redesigning a car for the next-next model year and all the company updates for the next model year is like a new clock and new colors.

The GOW graphically looks like top of the class it almost look cgish but nothing new was show.yes picking up weapon and magic doesn't count> they should have just show on big boss fight but no normal enemy

So disappointing. The last part of the conference was great because there was no talking. I loved the way they presented The Last of Us. No talking. Pure gameplay. That's how you do it. The PlayStation All-Stars demo was too long. Wonderbook demo was too long. Far Cry demo was too long.

It really comes down to Last of Us versus Halo 4. That's about all Microsoft and Sony both had that are worth my time. I call it a draw, although to be honest... I think Microsoft kicked Sony's butt with the casuals and the things that will attract media attention.

Halo 4. That's it. COD BLOPS2 was lame. TLOU showing was better than MS' whole conference.

They had a showing of Tomb Raider, Splinter Cell, and RE6 as well.

They did spend waaaaay too much time on the other bullshit and the conference as a whole was boring and crappy, but I was really surprised by how good Halo 4 looked and the only thing I liked here was the Last of Us.

Sony REALLY needed to have Vita stuff and dropped the ball massively there. That hurts.

Wow, I thought that was a great conference. I missed MS's conference earlier today, but I'll have to watch it now if people think this was shit.

For me, and I'm a 360 fan, I was amazed that 90 percent of the conference was spent on games. I don't even want a Vita, but that AC demo was awesome and makes me pissed that that Pirates of the Carribean game was cancelled. Beyond looked cool and of course Last of Us was great.

The biggest thing was that they focused on games. Even though neither Sony or MS announced a new console, this has already put my favor in Sony's court looking forward. I'd never thought I'd say that after 2006. As of now, I'm thinking of rolling PS4 and my PC next gen, unless the Wii U blows me away.

I don't see what was so good about the Ubisoft conference. All three focused on a few of their big franchises instead of showing everything they have to offer.

Depending on how games are integrated, I think PS Mobile and Smart Glass has already made the WiiU controller obsolete. Nintendo is in trouble.

These conferences today barely scratched the surface. There is much, much more from Sony and MS than what we saw today.

I don't know how people can dislike what they've seen of The Last of Us or even use its similarities to Uncharted as a negative. The scenario for TLOS looks infinitely more interesting than Uncharted and so do the characterizations of the two leads.

sony conference was 100% no surprise...nothing was announced...nothing at all. wonderbook and plus games being free and psone games on vita being announce was it....that playstation cloud shit was no where.

We didn't need a 15 minute book game demo, or for Jack to babble about nothing forever. Show us Soul Sacrifice, show us LBP Karting, show us MGS: Rising. Give us something to be excited about.
