looks great to me as well, loving the art style, music, and storytelling. As long as the main character doesn't feel the need to explain to me like I'm 5 why she likes girls and why I need to be ok with that, then I'm in.

I hate 'representation', and if you think about this, this game has poor 'representation' because everyone is black. But interestingly, I would consider this 'representation' done right. It fits.

So sick of people down playing short games. Jesus I don't need every game to be some 30+ hour marathon. I wont even get into the 80+ hour games. The main issue to me is the gameplay just looks very generic but everything else looks great.

The fact that they're all about it out of the gate makes me think there might not be a lot of "game" left underneath it.

This type of game would be okay if it is 8-10 hours. In fact, any longer and it could easily overstay its welcome.
Quality > quantity every time. But I've yet to see quality in this game.

I won't buy this game but you are so right.
Silent Hill 2 remake was AMAZING but it was also 4-6 hours too long.
If the remake would have came in at like 10-12 hours I think it would be the greatest game of all time. Now it is simply excellent but not the goat.
As a general rule and due to intensity imho, 20 hours for action end of survival horror, 8 hours for pure terror no fighting back, SH2 remake should have been 12hours. The only reason it was slightly bloated is because they knew some people would not pay full price for a 10 hour game.

Also glad there's an option to turn the jittery frame rate off in game play. Cut-scenes is fine by me since that's canned presentation.
