The most slippery of slopes.
Is it me or is there a slight delay on the controls in Super Meat Boy? It's bugging me a lot.
Using a 360 controller.
Summer sale... I am ready.

20 frame delay after a jump on a wall, so you could reposition yourself.
Okay, thanks for the answer. There is, you get used to it.
I prefer this world then. Super House is still good and all, but its focus on rushing downward with invincibility rage time makes it less interesting than navigating the traps and risk vs reward of the generated levels in Spelunky. In my world, Super House of Dead Ninjas would be seen as the de facto roguelike platforming game and not Spelunky.
Best armor to use against the sales, is the armor of poverty.
I wonder how the discussion to convince Valve that "International Picnic Day" was a valid reason for having a sale promotion went...To celebrate International Picnic Day, save 75% on Go Home Dinosaurs! today!
I asked before but I don't think anyone knows.I don't know if this has been answered but do the devs/pubs get a cut of Valve's share on card selling ? It could be a pretty nice incentive for some publishers to go on Steam since Valve is basically printing money out of thin air right now (well there's still the art cost).
I really doubt it. But they benefit from the fuckton of extra sales that having trading cards gives themI don't know if this has been answered but do the devs/pubs get a cut of Valve's share on card selling ? It's been asked and answered quite a bit, and it's in the STC FAQs.I don't know if this has been answered but do the devs/pubs get a cut of Valve's share on card selling ? That is a decent incentive right there. Imagine the amount of money big games could make from that for sticking some concept art up.It's been asked and answered quite a bit, and it's in the STC FAQs.
- The developer (or publisher) gets 10% of the price when a card gets sold in the Steam Market.
- Valve gets 5% of the price
(Valve gets 15% total for STCs for L4D2, Portal, CS:GO, DOTA2, HL2 etc for obvious reasons)

Hey Grief how about my "Take one, give one Steam gift thread" thread?
Anyone know what was used for that striped black background in the Steam pictures? If I had a high resolution render I could start one from scratch.
Right now, I pieced it together by cutting out part, copy/ pasting, and lining up the diagonal lines.
This is what I am referring to, what was the original render for the background?

It's just a gradient and a pattern.
I also need to add in the Trading Card thread as well.
Those will take a little time since I have to Photoshop up some more backgrounds. I also want to edit the original ones since they aren't cut out correctly.

hmm I really want mars war logs but 33% is still steep

Good point.
Wont it be pretty tough to match it up to look exactly like the original?

Do I have any chance for foil cards if I am level 8, or should I go level 10?

well, in some way it's more time to save up enough card moneyOver three weeks away. And Mars was 9,99$ in an amazon.com bundle for a day. Maybe it will come back but it's been a few day, so probably not.
why notIt's not worth that.

I'm halfway to fulfilling the thread title, you're not alone.
