I picked achievements that I loved pursuing (1 bullet in Episode 1, no kills in Deus Ex, and a couple that I got through sheer force of will like 100% LA Noire and 101% in Psychonauts.

I was thinking of showcasing all of the Ys games Completed Nightmare achievements but apparently I have yet to do this in Origin. Oof.
Platinum God in BoI is something I should probably showcase because yeah.
Or maybe just showcase Summer Sale/Christmas Sale achievements in hopes that they'll do that again.

They're super rare, and having Steam running doesn't seem to affect them. You can get them even when you're offline, as long as you've logged in within the last seven days.

Yeah, once you unlock the drill charge and get a few weapon upgrades (which the game seems to be fairly liberal with early on), Bioshock 2 starts becoming ridiculously fun to play.

Here is how I'm doing my Summer Sale planning based off my wishlist. First I just assume really new/popular stuff isn't going to get anything, so no RE:Revelations or GRID2, then I put down hopeful target prices I would bite on, then arrange those into groups of willingness with the total cash it would take for a whole group displayed.
That really puts it in perspective, and so I first have a decent idea on money to set aside, but also have something to measure in terms of jumping on a daily deal vs what potential future deals I could get with that money. I definitely won't be getting all in the "Not sure" category, but I may get one.
It's interesting, because if it's just one game it may seem like just being a cheapass looking for mostly 75% off, but when grouped like this you really get the idea of how that that higher cost could prevent you from getting a few games at once. Is it worth it? Depends on how bad you want to play the game right now over others, I guess.
