Agreed. Now I'm just asking myself "are the upgrades on the OLED model worth the extra $200?".

Unlikely.

As someone who has upgraded from a regular deck to the OLED I can tell you they absolutely are.

The 90hz refresh rate (which means that games manage to look and feel smooth even at 30fps) combined with the additional battery life have made a big difference. The cherry on the top is the fact that the screen itself looks amazing.

Don’t buy

Pretty good Russian Bioshock. 8/10 Takes around 25 hours to finish. The exterior gameplay is a bit eh, but inside most locations it's well designed. Decent story as well, except for the annoying protagonist. Fantastic soundtrack/audio design. Runs absolutely perfect.

As usual,

welcome origin GIF

What time is it?
Shockingly good sale with some historic lows.

Blue Revolver isn't a historic low as it was $7.34 during that SHMUP sale a month or so back but it has a huge update with new content and a lot of community features.

Solid sale this time, maybe too good since i am having a very hard time deciding what to buy. Already have the indies recommended here that i found interesting.

My haul, I bought Armored Core 6 on CDKeys though. I wanted to buy EDF6 but it's still too expensive for my tastes.
I think this will tide me over until next year, considering I have to start Trails through Daybreak in December...

I also plan to buy a Meta Quest 3 to play Alyx if I find a good deal.

Good deal on Psychonauts 2.

Not nearly as good as the first game, since they nerfed the powers big time, but still worth a play through.

I had a really good time with it on Game Pass and that's unusual as DoubleFine games rarely click for me outside of the original and the first half of Broken Age.

About as disappointed as I was at Sonys holiday sale tbh. There is a small handful of really solid deals on games I've already played, and everything on my wishlist is lucky to be 10-20% off at most.

Wonder what's going on with that.

Has Steam been hacked?
It's to celebrate the release of Warframe 1999.

Our massive Warframe: 1999 update is just a few weeks away, Tenno! Time itself has begun to move in mysterious ways as a result. To help celebrate the launch (and our clever community of Tenno), we’re taking you back in time ahead of schedule by making Dark Sector entirely free to keep on Steam for a limited time.

Published by Digital Extremes in 2008, Dark Sector features many early concepts that would eventually evolve into Warframe. The game follows CIA agent Hayden Tenno on their mission to combat the spread of the mutating Technocyte Virus using the Glaive, a weapon formed from their own Technocyte-infected right arm.

Now you can experience the whole story of Dark Sector for free by claiming it on Steam between 12 p.m. ET on November 27 and 12 p.m. ET on November 30. Once you claim the game, it will remain in your library to play even after the free window ends, so pick up a part of DE history today!
