A notable change between the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Hogwarts Legacy and the original, compromised Nintendo Switch version is that several large loads have been removed, such as when entering Hogsmeade village.

On PS5 and Xbox Series consoles, this was a seamless transition, however on Nintendo Switch, players were forced to wait.

Several areas of Hogwarts Castle were also changed for the Nintendo Switch version due to performance limitations.

The real strength of the game was indeed walking inside and aroung Hogwarts Castle, so this is a good move.

Nintendo keeps releasing hardware that's literally a generation behind the market. In dock mode, on a handheld, we slow down the clock even further...but it doesn't matter, it's Nintendo and its mascots, the formula still works.

Consoles haven't been cutting edge at launch since the Xbox 360. The current gen ones were nothing special in 2020.

Or even a paid one, rather than a totally different version

Yeah, Im expecting at least an upgrade path for us who have it on Switch. But I prefer a free upgrade as consolation because the potato version on Switch is a disaster and shouldn't have been released. It's unplayable. Only third party game I regret buying for the system.

If it were Nintendo you'd be getting one or the other. But this is WB games, I'd assume it'll be a full priced game.

You're probably right. WB are so scummy and money grubby today
