Switch 2 will benefit greatly from the PS4/XBO & PS5/XBS cross-gen debacle

As we learned the past decade or more, only first party devs can get the moat out of a console.
And nintendos first party has no clue how to create high end visual games.

If you just rely on third party, be disspointed as they already fuck up on the big syatmes and we get shit ports after shit ports

I would expect devs are excited their games will be more easily possible on Switch 2. I'd buy Madden on switch 2 before a PS or Xbox.

So, besides Nintendo originals, people will buy a Switch 2 to play games everyone could have already played since 2013? One can't even talk about portability, considering they are already playable on Steam Deck and other portable devices more powerful than S2.

Not the most compelling argument to get one.

The value proposition would be to play first party exclusives, new third party games, and ports of older third party games not available on the original Switch.

1. A new generation of gamers are now 100% hooked into the Nintendo ecosystem

2. Steamdeck is NOT a mass market product and is NOT a viable alternative to millions of gamers.

Again this argument 😂 Even the Switch 1 still selling more than every PC Handheld combined…The Switch 2 it's going to be another league.
