People on Dustloop are saying that Gamestop has said that they've shipped some of the copies out.
 
looks like a preordered the wrong game. i got this in my gamfly queue so im covered but i hope that when i buy it off of them they give me everything that comes in the limited edition and not just the game box & manual
 
Where are people buying this game from in Canada? Amazon.ca and Futureshop have no listing for it. Am I stuck with the bloated prices at EB/GS?

As someone said above me, the first run is the Limited Edition, so you can definitely get one. Also, BlazBlue is now showing up on the Best Buy website too. I guess I'll cancel my order at Amazon now and buy it using in store pick up at Best Buy. Amazon says they won't ship mine until July 6th for some reason, so there's no point in waiting and paying for shipping.

The Unlimited Characters Ragna, Rachel, V-13 and Hakumen. I haven't unlocked them yet so I don't know how different they are from the regular versions. If you have the xbox version you can pay 80 points to unlock them.

They're the boss incarnations you fight in Arcade and Score Attack modes.
 
So is the console story mode completely different than the story mode from the arcade version? Or is it just more fleshed out?

I'm planning on just sucking it up and going to EB. I was going to go down a few days ago to pre-order, but they had already closed (at 6:00pm, what the hell). Do you think they'll still be taking pre-orders this close to release? I might have time tonight...
 
Awesome IGN review! Obviously I can tell the reviewer is in love with the game and the score reflected that but the strengths of the game still stand up. The wait until I get mine at Gamestop is going to be interminable. =(

Arcade story mode is going through 8 stages with one mid boss and two final bosses... not a whole lot of story. The REAL story mode has character exclusive intros, cutscenes before every battle, branching storylines and whatnot. It plays out like a visual novel really, it's fantastic.

You can cancel and reorder. :P

I actually didn't read through the whole thread at Dustloop, but I think people were trying to switch their orders to overnight since it was free today. That's where the customer service said they couldn't change the shipping because the game had already shipped.
 
That free overnight shipping did it for me, I have been really wanting it anyway but it helps. Game looks great to me.

12 fighters, actually. 2 of them are boss characters but they have balanced playable versions.
