It's suppose to fix the lag. 360 has already had their patch. It's all on PS3. Just waiting to hear some impressions.

Got my copy today! I started out with a few online matches using Litchi, but the lag was too much so I've been checking out the strategy DVD and doing story mode. The strategy/combo stuff from the DVD was definitely too much for me to process without having had any experience yet, so I'll go back to it a little later. Looked like there was a lot of good information there at least.

I'll probably go back to online now that the patch is here though. If anyone wants to add me for some matches, I'm ndmazin on PSN. I'm still fairly noob, just trying to memorize the basic/special moves and mashing out combos. :D

Reading the impressions in this thread, I'm going to guess I'm really going to dig this game.

A question: does the art book contain any useful information, or neat character development sketches?

The patch improved SO MUCH. The lag barely exists in the beginning and then is fine the whole matches so far :eek:

Nice, managed to snag a copy from Gamestop despite having not pre-ordered.

Gonna run some local with my brother, to get my feet wet, but if any lobbies are going down on 360 later tonight then shoot me an invite (Tag - AZ Greg), I'll be down to get my ass whipped for awhile.

It shouldn't be. The Limited 1st shipment will probably sell through though.

Oh yeah, Amazon is great but not when it comes to games.
Just my luck though, I order from BestBuy.com to burn some giftcards and they're backordered + no local stores have it for pickup. Fail.

The netcode is ridiculously good. I played three matches against people from Japan and Korea without any issues whatsoever. Whatever ArcSys is doing is some crazy voodoo shit and I love it.

Okay, is anyone else having input problems on the PS3? I'm noticing this on the TE stick. Sometimes buttons just won't register for periods of time. Whether it is in the middle of a fight or just trying to skip conversations. It's not just one button either. It's on all buttons and start. Same thing happens on the DS3 in fast. Stick is connected just fine to the console.

Really weird. =/

is there an ideal button map I should use on stick to mirror the arcades? Im thinking of playing strictly on stick to learn this game.

Is the online playing compatible between versions? I can pick up the Japanese version for cheap, but I do not want to get stuck playing only Japanese once I get back to Europe.

You just gotta be patient and learn how to block her drive attacks... it's not too hard when you get the hang of it. Best thing to do is go into training mode and play as her, then watch her animations to understand how to block it.

BTW, Japanese BlazBlue site updated... more DLC for the game... this time new colors for each character... 4 chars for 160 MS Points (!), or all chars for 400 points. WTF?
