I still think it's overcrowded, don't need curtis felicity fills the the techy role fine and he is embarrassing trying to fight, maybe the occasional appearance from curtis to help them out with his inventions.
And dinah you could get rid of her i don't think too many people would be bothered.

The Flash and The Arrow are both horrible shows but I still can't stop watching them - simply because I like superhero based TV.
I just saw Luke Cage and that surprised me. Was better than I thought, but it's no Daredevil.

Only ones I can think of off the top of my head.
Boring. The main character is an idiot throughout, the fight scenes are very poor, and the show focuses too much on corporate scenes.
It is crowded, but not in a way that impedes the show, and that is the important thing here.
And Dinah is a work in progress. The writers clearly wanted her in and part of the team so that they could do some work on her later on. Same as Vigilante.

They really should just write around Barry's OP powers somehow because the way he gets jobbed by semi-regular guys sometimes is so annoying in how it takes me out of the experience.
You can't though the monster of the week format wouldnt work the episodes would last like 20 seconds if they made him OP.

The worst is like when people escape by turning a corner or something and Flash just gives up.
Thankfully it doesn't happen often anymore.
I know, but the compromise they've got going on just isn't working well enough. It's too inconsistent and that is a very common complaint I've seen.
For a guy who can see things in slow motion, you're telling me Solovar was fast enough to tag you?
Admittedly, it looks like he was so completely surprised/confused that he just stared while it happened.
But yeah, seeing things in slow motion, sooo.
The Punisher Show and his Zany Group of Friends that includes a talking dog.
Would propably be a better show than Flash is now.

The only good CW DC show is Legends of Tomorrow because it knows how incredibly dumb and cheesy it is. The Flash and Arrow have never been more than mediocre at best (haven't watched Supergirl, it looks bad).

We all agree though that they're not good?
I've watched all of them except Arrow, which I'm 2 seasons behind on.
The writing is sub-par and the forced drama nonsense gets very old. Characters don't really learn or change through the course of seasons and make the same mistakes again and again and again (see: Barry Allen in Flash, every season).

I'd say Arrow S5 is legitimately great, or at least after the first few episodes that set everything up.

My roommate is a huge super hero fan so when we moved in together he got me to watch the first two seasons of Arrow. Then we watched season 3 of Arrow and season 1 of Flash together. Then the next year we watched season 4 of Arrow, season 2 of Flash, and season 1 of Legends of Tomorrow (that was all in the same year right?).
After that I swore off watching anything on the CW for good and I haven't turned back. Feels good.

Jessica Jones is at number one for me, but that's a once every couple of years Netflix show. It's also the most dark of the shows.
I'm also a big Noir/Detective fan.
The Flash lost me a long time ago. I'll watch an episode now and again on Netflix, but the show has become an endless jumble of plot horrors and bad decisions.
It was ridiculous when Barry freed his dad, everyone gathered for a nice party for his return, and dad couldn't even wait until it ended before he fled.
Linda Park was pretty neat, but she lasted about four episodes before the show returned to Barry moping over Iris.
I still can't believe these heroes throw criminals into tiny cubicles that lack running water, a toilet, and room to lie down. There's no trial, no due process, just the cell and endless confinement.
I don't like how Cisco and Katelyn have powers. Joe and Iris are probably due. It seems dumb the show has become Flash and his Amazing Pals.

I watched all of season 1 and had a fun, if mostly forgettable, time with it. Made it a few episodes into season 2 and then it just fell completely out of my regular rotation and I haven't been back since. I think my biggest problem with all of these CW comic hero shows are the damn 23 episode seasons. You just can't maintain consistent quality and interest over that many episodes. There's gonna be alot of filler. I would much rather have 10 or 13 really solid episodes a season, but I'm sure I'm a minority there.
The first couple seasons of Arrow were really fun to watch, but I always considered it a bit of a "guilty pleasure" show.
Manu Bennett as Deathstroke was awesome, and a welcome sight after Spartacus ended. John Barrowman always stole his scenes...and I just really, really liked looking at Emily Bett Rickards.
I kinda lost interest after that though and could never get in to Flash. Netflix Marvel shows are just on a different level entirely. I even enjoyed Iron Fist, despite it clearly being the worst of the lot.

Just stop with the season long villain arcs. And cut back on the melodrama.
Have some fun adventures for once.
Stop revolving everything around Barry and Iris's relationship.

We stopped watching half way through season three, it got boring and every episode more or less had the same structure.
My idea for a S4 arc that doesn't involve Yet Another Evil Speedster:
Barry & Team Flash get flung to a random dimension and they spend the season trying to get back to Earth-1 using the dimensional locals and Vibe's powers. Basically, Sliders except they would get back eventually and there would be a B-plot on Earth-1 where Joe and Iris deal with Barry being missing, maybe Earth-2 Harry/Jessie show up to try to help Barry & Co get back.
This framing would give the showrunners a lot of leeway to do one-off Flash stories.
And maybe throw in a John Rhys-Davies/Jerry O'Connell/Cleavant Derricks cameo for fun.

I hated how the writers forced Barry to yell at Wally every other episode so Wally would run off and get into trouble causing the other characters to have a one on one with Barry to understand what's really bothering him so he can can deal with it and make everything right.

Pretty good. Ideally, it should have been eight episodes rather than thirteen but it's a solid show nonetheless.
Good setting, excellent main villain, but loses itself in the second half. Multiple plot points hinge on characters acting stupid, and the main character's powers are extremely inconsistent from episode to episode. Still worth a watch for the villain scenes alone.

I watched the first episode because of this thread.but i kinda don't want anymore, feels like a huge step down from Smallville .with forced drama and a joke the next minute and worse nobody has charisma in most scenes .didn't feel like anything stood out :/

Everything but Supergirl is better than the majority of Smallville.
Supergirl on the other hand makes Smallville and Lois & Clark look like absolute perfect masterpieces.

Well Supergirl tried to handle superhero's lesbian sister drama...
Now if only they took the other lesbian of that relationship and put her where she belongs(on a Batwoman show)
