Why is Street Fighter Alpha not Street Fighter 3?
Because it was originally called Street Fighter Zero. The game takes place before SF2.

All the Alpha games take place before 2. The characters are clearly younger, plotlines are in thier infancy etc. It was a deliberate effort to define the games as being what took place before Street fighter II.Is that it, even with there being an Alpha 2 and 3? Also, doesn't Street Fighter 4 take place before 3? Although maybe they just wanted to have a more consistent naming scheme by then.
How is Homefront: The Revolution? I understand it's become something of a cult game and was wondering if it's worth it for the sale price steam has it for right now (10 bucks).
Now that it's been all patched up it's rather decent. The main campaign is essentially an urban Far Cry, so if you enjoy those games you should have fun with it. I actually think the three story DLCs are the star of the show, as they go for a much more linear experience. The Freedom Fighter bundle (which includes the story DLCs) appears to be $13 right now, so I'd recommend getting that over just the standard game.
Any rumors about the next steam sale???
I got a couple games I want to play, but if steam sale is near, I may just wait.

Unconfirmed, but I believe some Steam dev's have leaked the sale date on reddit.

Alternatively, Humble's sale has started already and runs until the 25th.
Can anyone remember exactly what games was it that had a female voice say:
Insufficient funds to build that
or something very similar , when you tried to build something but didn't have enough... funds (whatever material it was)? I don't know if it was Starcraft, some Command&Conquer or maybe something different, but can't seem to find it right now.
So guys, did I fuck up?
What's the difference between Outrun 2 and Outrun 2006?
And by this point I suppose the engines for Ps2 and 1 are cheap, why can't they be included in the Ps4 either?
Setting up the production lines for outdated tech isn't free and they already have a solution they've paid a lot for a long time ago, one they can now make money off of (who knows whether it's paid for itself though). And by this point I suppose the engines for Ps2 and 1 are cheap, why can't they be included in the Ps4 either?
there's one thing I just never understood about BC not being possible on Ps4.
First off, Ps3 is overall less powerful than the Ps4, right? Even though Ps3's tech was more complex, it is not up to the specifications of the Ps4.
My understanding is, so Ps3's works as 1+9-2+10+7-22=3. It is complicated, but the Ps3's computing power, is 3.
And Ps4's is 3+3=6. Not complicated, straight forward, and more power than Ps3.
Is this an appropriate way to look at it? If not, what is? And if so, why can't the Ps4 do it? And by this point I suppose the engines for Ps2 and 1 are cheap, why can't they be included in the Ps4 either?
Emulation is also very power demanding, and last I heard, you need roughly ten times the power to properly emulate an older system. Not sure why, or if the number is even accurate, but emulation is highly demanding for sure.
Yeah it's a random ballpark number I've heard online. the point is, as you say, that it's not as simple as running an iso file :lolThere's no hard number for how demanding emulation is, but yeah, emulation is very demanding on the CPU. Specifically, it tends to require high single threaded performance (an area which the PS4 and Xbone CPUs aren't exactly the best in).
Is Rafe from Uncharted 4 based on some famous actor? He looks nothing like his voice actor but I feel like he was based on a real person. He looks soooo familiar to me, but I can't place him :/

I dunno if he is based on an actor but the internet seems to think he looks like Jake Gyllenhaal.

There was but it was locked. Probably because this is at least the second (if not third) year in a row we've had this same "rumour" crop up in the month before E3.Is there no thread about the psp3 speculation?
Talent and matter relevance. Why is Jim Sterling so popular? Like, is there anyone else who has an entire self-named website?
What do the red crosses on top of the board mean in puyo puyo (tetris)?
Here's a question that might be stupid, how can you buy games from xbox.com using gift card codes?
I managed to redeem a gift card but don't know how to actually use the credits to buy the game that I want.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=732999296I need to reinstall Quake (the original) on my computer. What's the best engine to use, and what about the music?
Btw, just saw that guide doesn't link to the soundtrack files. This one does:Thanks a bunch.
MH3U?I want some games recommendations, I want RPG games with good battle system and boss fights for 3DS, I already played MH 4 & Generations
Also I want Dark Fantasy games for PS3/PS4/3DS/Switch , it can be RPG/Action/Adventure or anything, as long as it's a dark fantasy game, something like SoulsBorne and The Witcher 3 , I am also ok with games being dark without fantasy elements.
any recommendations?
Just go to the game and select purchase. Gives u the option to use a cash balance or credit card/PayPal
It doesn't, the only option available to me is to add my credit card info.
This is what I'm trying to get btw: http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/P...acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8024d5307df?cid=search
