I'd guess Doom. They always shoot onsite at the studios for this direct and can show off ID. Fable for sure.

Its ok even myself as a true Xbox warlord allow them posts, after all if it wasnt for the odd old Xbox game coming to PS there would be hardly any games coming out for them, just got some Ghosts next year then some slap head space jolly up after that. We let them eat a little . To get them real happy I can confirm at the Jan Xbox event they will anounce that old arse Starfield game is coming to Playstation around August time.

Fable has a 2025 date, the 'delay' thing someone one of the Tom's talked about was something that didn't have a release date, and that anything mentioned for 2025 was still on track.

I think the people that have this viewpoint, prefer consoles and not games. Personally, I don't care what system it's on, I care about the content. It's already very clear Microsoft has 3rd party ambitions even though they have a console, but the reality is, all console manufacturers want to do is sell games and services. I'm not sure why everything has to be polarized. Just play the games and enjoy the games, who cares about the plastic thats playing it. In my case, the thing I play them on is made of tempered glass, aluminum, and steel.

at this point, the elusive "next year is the year" it's done; it's finished. But the sad, cruel or sadistic way life works wil be when MS finally wins GOTY, not as a platform holder, but as a Third Party Publisher.

Xbox fans can be excited about the games coming out and that is what they seem to be excited about. If MS/Xbox is publishing those games on Playstation also, why should that take away anyone's excitement?

MS has the money for this type of strategy and is willing to support Xbox and publish on other platforms.

As long as they all could sell consoles without having exclusives they would do so. The weird thing about the situation MS/Xbox finds itself in, is that they are the only ones who can afford a strategy like this. Nintendo and Sony need to offer reasons for people to choose their platforms. MS's gaming division is now big enough where that probably doesn't matter and they have Game Pass to push so...

Looking ahead, Doom The Dark Ages is really the only Xbox title I'm fully sold on. So, I hope we see some actual gameplay from Fable or at least confirming full player character customisation. If they've gone static main character for this, I'm out. Would like to see more from Perfect Dark, but I feel that might be too soon. The only other title I kinda care about would be State of Decay 3. After that, I'm in a holding pattern until they announce some more games.

My guesses for Xbox first party schedule:

Avowed: Feb
South of Midnight: March or April
Doom: Summer
Outer Worlds: Fall
Fable: Winter

Fable and OW can be interchanged depending on how far either is.

Gears E-Day, Perfect Dark etc ain't coming out any time soon.

A new Forza Horizon *would* be a very welcome surprise, but I'd prefer Turn 10 to be all hands on deck for Fable at this point.
