I don't think any streaming service is worth full price if it's only for one season

But the show is stellar. They really did a good job on this one.

2024 has been an outstanding year for syncretic tv so far.

Hazbin, Agatha and Kaos.
Kaos might've done better if Eris was shown in some manner - "For the Fairest" - rather than implied. It was fun watching the show and imagining her unseen presence moving things. The cast of characters was incredible. Where it ended was satisfying enough to let go with only the disappointment of what could've been, like Dark Crystal AoR and Thra.

I'm a huge fan of Lost

You should watch this show that's aimed at the lost crowd. It's more horror and generally more violent than Lost but it has a similar premise where there's mysterious stuff happening. It's called From. It's on MGM+, but I've been sailing the Seven Seas. So far it's really good

Here’s what I’m currently watching. I binge-watched the first two seasons and am nearly caught up with Season 3. The show has been amazing so far—I just hope it doesn’t end up like *Lost* when it comes to explaining everything.

I hope Maron doesn't go too woke and focuses on the self loathing substance abusing stuff instead.

New season of Legend of Vox Machina... So far so good! First 3 episodes are up!

About to finish the third season...wooooooooooooow did they up their game! It's been consistently fantastic, both from a story perspective and in fantastically animated battle scenes.

It's getting a bit into the anime-esque "the more emotional I am, the more my nebulously defined power grows" versus sticking to actual DnD mechanics (except "dick lightning", TOTALLY a legit 5th level bard spell but its so fucking good I don't mind.

Just watch Josh Johnson's Youtube channel. He posts 1 hour sets very often. All pretty good.

I concur... He's more of the story telling variety of comedian but he does it in an everyman way that's consistently funny.

Checked out this new animated show "Pantheon" on Netflix.
Apparently it's an AMC original but they removed it from the service and now Netflix has it in a few regions.

It's pretty fun, I like the premise of the story. The animation is pretty rough though, it has this weird low resolution look with tons of jaggies

I've started watching From. On episode 7 of S1 so far. Amazed this has made it 3 seasons and is getting a 4th. Super creepy so far. Definitely getting Lost vibes with unanswered questions though.

Despite some of the bad acting I love this show more than Lost and I love Lost. Also it's by the same people who made Lost

I just watched the latest season of Slow Horses. Season 4, I think.

It's okay, I guess. Some parts I really liked, others were horribly written; Dementia is (almost) always a lame plot device, the gambling addicts plotline was completely retarded, the blonde women operative is a joke and there's some more stuff. So it's not exactly 10/10, but then again, Gary Oldman is perfect in this role and he has lots of other great cast members to play off on, so overall I had a good time. Also I really loved the new psycho guy they introduced (was he in s3 already?) and Moira was a fun addition as well. The ending was kind of a mess and felt a bit hastly thrown together, but I guess it worked. I did enjoy that the gambling addict died at least and I enjoyed that we'll likely to see more of the psycho , based on the sneak peek we got at the end.

I'd say 7/10, which almost sounds a bit harsh, but I need to deduct some points for shortcomings in the writing. Looking forward to S5.
