The game isn't a bomb; it'll do quite well when you take into account US + Euro sales.

The only thing Naughty Dog needs to do for the next title is to add online play and co-op, if only to increase the replayability and sales of the title.

I think hes pointing out, that those two features would throw off the game drastically in terms of original playability. Coop is nice and all but I don't think it suites Uncharted much.
