Dudes, Uncharted 2 is DEFINITELY confirmed. Sorry, that means NO JAK!

They even asked the president of Naughty Dog what their plans were next, and he openly admitted that Naughty Dog likes to make a franchise and stick with it for a generation (surprise! they did it with Jak).

Then you have one of the lead designers saying he was going to take a trip to the tropics for 'inspiration' of his next project, and well, yeah...

UNCHARTED 2! Woot :D

But yeah, as someone said, they should have a playable girl. Doesn't have to be scantly clad, just have her wear a tshirt and the wet clothes engine thingy will make it hot enough heh

Seriously though, maybe they could divide the game so you play with Nathan half way through, then with the reporter-girl or Nathan's girlfriend or whatever the other half? In different areas of course, searching for each other. And then in the end they find each other and live happily ever after lalala :)

They should just stick to one playable character namely Nathan, don't need no skanky Lara clone.

Aeon, Uncharted is a fucking third-person SHOOTER (with some platforming and minor puzzles), there's nothing wrong with the fucking camera, you aim where the camera is looking.

I always die once I get to the second area (I think... with all the columns). Ammo isn't really a problem.

I've never played a T/FPS for more than 10 minutes before though, so that kind of gameplay isn't exactly my forte.

The camera in Uncharted was fine. You just hate the game because explosive barrels give you nightmarish flashbacks to the early days of Resistance! :lol :lol :lol

Can they improve the graphics in the next one? I suspect they will. Priority one should be to get rid of the plastic look.

Granted the game has it's own unique visual style, but by trying to emulate some things realistically, it falls short. The vegetation is the biggest culprit. Too shiny.

Im sure this is gonna be a first day purchase for me. I just hope they up the balance out the platforming/puzzle and gunplay aspects abit more. And maybe a better melee combat system.

I can't say too much (NDA) but they seem to have some cool ideas for Uncharted 2.

Uncharted was fucking amazing that's why, as long as they can make each one as good or better then the previous one they can make as many as they want.

Milking franchises is when a popular name is just slapped onto a game for recognition and sales. Uncharted 2 can't come soon enough.

Eh, I'd buy a new Uncharted module every week if they made them. I'm used to having to cart my ass to the cinema for that type of experience. Having it inside of a great game? Bonus points.

For christ's sake, he only confirmed it's coming, not that's it's coming next month or something. For all we know (and what I'm guessing) it's a 2009 release.

Cool. Hopefully they get rid of the pointless QTEs and avoid putting in a twist that throws the gameplay into the shitter for this one.
