They have probably been working on the next Jak and Daxter all this time. After the success of the psp versions, I dont see why they would not wanna work on a PS3 Jak and Daxter game.

Uncharted 2 wil probably come out in 2009 - 2010

Oh and btw, anyone else seen this ? Personally, some of these are bullshit, and thats seem highly probably.

Awesome news indeed, Uncharted is freakin' amazing - definitely one of the best games this gen...I'm just curious to see what ND will do with the graphics engine.

Oh well, Uncharted 2 should be awesome. So, what do you think the release date will be? I'm betting on fall '09. Could be earlier than that I suppose. Didn't the Jak series get a new game each year?

But yeah, screw Co-op and multiplayer. Make the game longer, and include more secrets and a time attack mode or something.

I'm with those calling for Naughty Dog to continue on with the Uncharted franchise. I like the new direction, and I'm hoping that they'll continue on with the Uncharted story before/if they pick up the Jak storyline again.

I'm fine with single player games, if anything I actually prefer them because the developer isn't distracted by trying to add in another mode. But its rather obvious that its become important to reviewers and its reflected in the scores. Its more important to them than single player modes. It's not much of a leap for Uncharted anyway as the engine seems like it'd support multiplayer rather well.

It's the top selling game on several online retailers I use, top 5 on one of biggest Portuguese and Spanish retailer, holding steady on the charts for 3 weeks in a row. I think it's doing fine.

Jak isn't coming out on the PS3 anytime soon, and frankly I'm glad. I'd much rather have an Uncharted sequel than Jak on the PS3...
