Beatles Rock Band is best Music Game, but DJ Hero beats it for Best Soundtrack Soundtrack isn't everything.

Tricia Helfer. She played a Cylon in Battlestar Galactica. Her connection to Halo is that she played a ONI operative in HALO 3: ODST.

Shit like this happens all the times with awards though. You'll often see a game win Best PS3 or 360 game and then the overall GoTY will be something else that's on that platform. It's just about wanting to spread the awards out as much as possible.

Yeah and is the same engine from Halo 3 and ODST, nice improvement and the story looks promising.

People actually said Rocksteady was shit? If they did then they're idiots. Saying ND should have won it over Rocksteady isn't shitting on them. It's an opinion and a valid one, Rocksteady came from nothing and came up with a great game, NaughtyDog came up with a Brilliant one while delivering on what most people asked from the first as well. Prize could have gone either way and someone favouring one doesn't mean they're shitting on the other one.

Bungie said it isn't, like a million times. But then again, they promised Halo 3 would look like it did in the E3 '06 announcement. So who knows.

Damn, ALL of the streams froze as soon as the Reach trailer showed - fucking hell, was everyone just waiting for it to show? I would have went to the living room or bedroom had my laptop battery not been low! Oh well, I'll just have to wait to see who puts it up first...

Look at how all the bitching stopped over the last few pages, and it's all sunshine & rainbows, and the award show is getting this love all of sudden - kinda coincidental, huh? :lol

Why? A ton of people watched the show. As long as publishers see all the eyes watching, they will show trailers there. Your only real hope is that another videogame awards show comes out around the same time of the year. If not, this is it. Not sure why everyone is so hyped to see trailers anyway. It is always trailers. Trailers that will be online right after the show.

They did change the show. Fewer stupid skits, for one. The tone of the show is still a bit silly though. I think that most gamers would prefer something a bit more serious. Not so silly, but as long as Spike has it, it won't happen. Again, Spike stepped up and did this when no one else did so they have the right to do whatever they want to do.

When Stephen A. Smith is a highlight you know your show is ass. I kind of like that they spread around the awards though. Uncharted 2 is prob the right pick for top honor - fucking excellent game.

So, Spec Ops and Medal of Honor = Yeah!

Also, AC II is better than Uncharted 2. (I'm still going to be playing U2 tonight though.)

Spec Ops looks great. You can see they're taking some cues from Uncharted 2 too, which is great.

Pretty sure Uncharted 2 started a trend on big set pieces being actually playable. Hope we see alot more of that from now on.

People were claiming moneyhats, though, which tends to suggest that the people who won did so dishonorably. That's kind of shitting on them.
