Golf of America actually makes geographical sense. The problem is that when Trump is involved, people immediately assume it's a disastrous idea. I can relate, I feel like Trump in my own way, since everyone at my job assumes I'm just a DEI hire who doesn’t know what he's doing.

It's not that anyone thinks it's "disastrous" it's just pointless and childish, and an obvious troll/distraction.

And it's effective, like people will talk about it and it will get headlines precisely because it's so petty and absurd., but I don't think it's in the top 100 things that anybody gives a shit about. It's not even a culture war thing or something anyone ever asked for, it's literally just a stupid meme to drive conversation away from Musk's butterfly revolution.

Okay, forgive me, but are you really saying that the President of the United States trolling and engaging in pointless, childish antics doesn’t do significant harm? I'm not really asking for an answer, I'm just pointing something out, and I think you know exactly what I mean.

I guess it depends on your concept of significant. Back in the Obama era when people had time to get worked up over tan suits and shit, then sure this would have been absolutely scandalous.

But when some weirdo is trying to seize direct control of the federal bureaucracy in open defiance of courts and Congress?

Sorry, bruh, not on my radar anymore.

I feel like my toddler got voted in as President.

That checks out, I could see many toddlers running in front of the TV and being like, “no, forget the Super Bowl, let’s make today about ME and what I’M doing! Today’s my day!”

And all the true Americans are like, “uh-huh, that’s adorable, sweetie, why don’t you go play in your room, we’re not even at the Halftime show yet.”

Also, I love how the Daily Show showed how Trump’s own “look at me, everyone!” speech got interrupted by an update by the plane’s pilot, and Trump has to just sit there and wait.

Power scaling confirmed: pilot on intercom > Trump’s ego.

Yeah no one has their eye on the ball anymore and it's making me feel crazy.

But basically this:

They're not coming in to end DEI. They're coming in so we can cheer while they end DEI with a side of ending democracy. While we don't notice, because we're too busy paying attention to the Gulf of America.

Correct, they think we're stupid. They have found zero fraud, but everything they have shut down is something that is investigating or regulating one of Musk's businesses. The conflicts of interest are screaming in people's faces, but at this point they're so mad at the government they will cheer for anything.

Are we stupid though? I'm getting a little nervous.

In some ways. Like, it's just really obvious to me that people want to be led. They're willing to believe anything if it comes out of someone charismatic that they believe in. I feel like Dems losing since Obama is less about policy and more about lacking a candidate with real charisma. People don't understand policy particulars, they understand narratives and personalities.

Elon is just as good at personal mythmaking as Trump is, so he checks the narrative box, but he doesn't have the personal charisma, he's too clearly neurodivergent and pilled out to get fully embraced by normies, so it looks like Trump supporters are slowly turning on him, especially as it becomes more apparent that he's usurping power from Trump and pushing away from some of the key MAGA agenda.

So when do the price of eggs start decreasing?
Once the federal bureaucracy is dismantled sufficiently that there is no-one to stop farmers selling diseased eggs and no-one monitoring to detect a pattern of illnesses.
(And when your Walmart+ agreement to arbitration is extended to your purchase of eggs at a Walmart so you can't sue them)

Lol, this is blue-anon stuff. Okay okay, I'll humor the notion, why is he so concerned with Elon when the whole government beauracracy is filled with people like him? 1000s of people gaming the system for control.

Not to mention most of these agencies are failures at their mission and no amount of "the right person in charge" can fix them. They do no good for any one, they just waste money and get overpaid. Some of them are good but need to be reorganized to get back to their original mission. The status quo isn't working, we are having lots of similarities to Weimar Germany.

I mean it’s a name; it doesn’t affect anything or impact anyone in anyway as far as I can see. There's nothing to be gained or lost, so the only question I can think of is WHY BOTHER?

Research the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo and what led to it.

Considering that slavery was a major reason for the Texas Revolution, but not the only, reason my simplified understanding is that Mexico lost Texas due to immigration, as the settlers who moved there later rebelled because they wanted to keep slavery, whereas Mexico opposed it. Is that correct? Said settlers were American's from the Southern states. So ahh.... What's the lesson to be learned from all this? America used immigration to take land and now they hate immigration. :messenger_beaming:

He was talking about California.

Edit: You responding with the laugh emote shows you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Again, the education system in America has collapsed. People are being educated by retards on TikTok.

Quoting this so in 2028 I can come back to laugh at you when democracy is better than ever and we all vote for JD Vance to be the next President

I actually laughed at myself for not realizing California was the topic being discussed. I thought your comment was genuinely funny for that reason.

He was talking about California.

Anyway, California was somewhat similar, but slavery wasn’t a factor at all. Here’s an oversimplification: Americans were expanding westward, and a whole war broke out to make that easier. Mexico ended up getting their asses kicked and had to surrender California, along with Texas (officially), Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, and parts of Colorado and Wyoming.

Mexico and America fought a war. Mexico lost. They ceded land that made up six current states (including CA) and the US paid them for the land as part of the treaty that ended the war.

But since the education system has collapsed and you have high school drop outs as teachers wearing “La Raza” shirts and waving Mexican flags, you have a generation of smooth brained idiots being raised on a lie that California was stolen from poor innocent Mexico.

You might want to read the post just above yours.

I mean, based on what Vance recently said, “does the President REALLY need to be in any way restricted by the Supreme Court?”, you know, just casually suggesting removing the checks and balances that have defined our national government for CENTURIES, we may not even have a President by 2028 but just a full-on King, even if they still keep the name “President”.

Just saying, I wouldn’t be using Vance as a shining example of democracy when he’s saying sinister shit like that.
