For my ps5, the GT7 with those impressive performance Porche at that very challenging Nurburgring and Silent hill 2 remake escorting Maria.

About 3 years ago when I first received my PS5, I platinumed Horizon Zero Dawn (~80 hours) and Horizon Forbidden West (~200 hours) back-to-back. Now, with the release of Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, I played through it on a PS5 Pro (from scratch, without importing my save), and, just now, achieved the platinum for it (~70 hours). The graphics are absolutely phenomenal. With open-world games, I would routinely use the Photo Mode to catalogue my adventure through the world, and with these Horizon games, I easily get the best-looking photos. The combat is fun and engaging, and the characters/story, although a bit quirky, sort of remind me of a live-action Disney movie. I will be awaiting eagerly for the eventual third installment in the series on the PS6.

Beat Shangri-La Final Boss. It was fun since I finally figured out what to do. I had to hit the weather control with not a elemental spell since they dish out too much damage which can make the machine break and you can't control the weather anymore. I hit the machine with elemental fragments and it deals less damage but I'm able to use the weather against the boss and his attacks don't deal as much damage and I'm able to deal around 30,000 to 50,000 Damage to the boss

After that I went to Communication Network. The Boss of that area was hard but easier than the previous boss I beat. He's called Solar Flare Noise. I love his design. Which is a Sun with a eye that inches closer. The closer it comes to the cast, the cast takes 1000 to 2000 damage each turn due to the Sun heat. And than it comes right in front and with its eye open you can deal massive damage to it. You need to equip certain gems due to a status effect it puts your characters under.

I got than to the Final Dungeon. I'm at the last save point and man that Final Boss kicked my ass in its second form

I'm thinking of going to the Void Realm to try to Level faster. It said the reccomanded level for the final boss is Level 60. So I'm guessing I have another 20 to 30 hours left since I do want to overlevel. I have like 2 to 4 more sidequests to beat

Replaying RDR2. Played it first on PS4 when it came out but decided to double dip on PC since it's on sale for just 15€.

Game plays amazing, and even if I'm still using a gamepad the controls are way more responsive than when I played it on console, aiming being much easier and overall feeling better to play.

Game is also quite a looker, playing this at 4K with everything set to ultra and man, looks amazing.

What a travesty that Rockstar never made a 60 fps version for PS5/Series X.

I think I finished Ch. 1 of Dynasty Warriors: Origins. I was tired after a long work day, so I skipped a lot of the cutscenes lol.

I bought Ninja Gaiden 2 Black on PS5. I'll start that tonight as well. I don't know why I'm so into the staff as a weapon lately, but there is one in this game so I'm going after that. I will also enjoy the claws hehe.

I still want to get into Marvel Rivals, but I'm not going to play with randoms. I don't want to ruin anyone's fun since I am new and trash. My coworkers still haven't invited me to games.

I was thinking about reinstalling COD BO6 but I just watched two videos about how crappy the game is in specific modes, and it soured me.

Finally got Cyberpunk on ps5.
So far I'm enjoying it but I'm also now blown away by it. Visually it's really nice, even without all the bells and whistles from the Pc version I've still been impressed by the presentation on ps5, specially for a dense open world urban environment targeting 60fps (makes it all the sadder that they are dropping their engine)

The gameplay itself is pretty fun, it's not saying much but it probably has the most fun combat out of any CDPR game. I'm going with a close range melee/shotgun build and have been enjoying it

My main disappointment so far have been the sidequests. I'm still early in the game so it might get better, but I was expecting the same level of interesting stories, characters and decisions from the Witcher 3. Instead, most of them so far just feel like the standard stuff you get in most modern open world games.

Ninja Gaiden 2 Black
I really hope that Ninja Gaiden 4 fixes the problems with the camera, as well as some of the weird sticky control and missed block button presses.

I just started NG2B and man, it really blows my mind how some of the best action games of all time suffer from these issues.

Got lost in Infinity Nikki and don't know what to do next, so stop for a while. Back too Silent hill 2 remake and it is fantastic even in ps5 slim. The quality mode 30 fps in ps5 slim is decent, and it does not bother me, and its very playable, and visuals is very nice. ( Still planning to get ps5 pro this year and hopefully once I get ps5 pro, SH2 will have the proper ps5 pro )Right now I'm inside Brookhaven hospital with Maria. Then GT7 later for more driving.

I have been engrossed with Horizon Forbidden West on pc. It started slow for me then I finally got to where I couldn't put it down. I set it on the highest difficulty, and probably bit off more than I can chew, because a lot of fights end with 1 hit.

I'm probably too old at this point to continue playing these action games on the hardest difficulty, but I'm a glutton for punishment, I guess. I ain't never gonna stop. Artificially extends my game time when I have to fight the same fight 75 times in a row until my luck and skill level line up enough to get through it.

Currently playing FF7 Rebirth on PC. I'm glad early last year I decided to just wait and then get it on PC instead of PS5.

I grinded most of the time. I went to Shangri-La and beat the optional minibosses that were guarding a chest. I ended up getting a good weapon for Kina. Than I figured out how exactly to get that other treasure that was blocked by a Earth Element Barrier. Ended up netting me a Blue Quartz which Nulls All Status Effects.

I decided to go back to the final boss and while the first form was easy, the second form was somewhat easy but got tougher later on and wiped my party. So I'm going to try again when I get my whole party to Level 70 - 75

Been playing Broforce a bit before it disappears from GP. Can't figure out if I want to buy it, because while it is funny and entertaining in short 10 minute sessions, it kind of loses its appeal the further you go.

Have been playing Conscript. That indie Resident Evil play-a-like set in WW1 trenches. Good stuff. Shooting mechanics are not the best, but I dig the vibes.

Starbound is fine but I have a hard time finding the motvation to play it when I have some many other games in my backlog.

Really like Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders but I feel that it is a bit too hard for me. There is no progression unless you do all the challenges on a given track so I'm already a bit stuck relatively early in the game.

Ninja Gaiden 2 Black - I think I mostly resort to button mashing in this one. But it is fun, chopped limbs and all.

Another Crab's Treasure. Had I played this last year it probably would've made my top 5. Easily one of the better Souls clones out there, with a shitload of charm, just the right difficulty and a great soundtrack. Highly, highly recommended.

I loved that the Accessibility option in the game is to just straight up give the crab a GUN.

Yeah its pretty hilarious. Basically the "fuck it" button. You just use a 1911 as a shell and it looks ridiculous. One shots everything, including bosses :messenger_tears_of_joy: Reminds me of Raiders with Indy and the swordsman

Marvel Rivals but I really hate people. This is why I stopped playing online games that I enjoy. I have over 1000 hours in Apex Legends and I don't know how I did it with randoms. I'd STILL play it except I cannot handle people and their toxicity anymore.

I am brand new in Rivals and I did my best in a Quick match that we won, and yet someone still had to talk shit to me in the chat and say, "Don't play Widow." I am soooo sorry that I am not super 1337 with 30 kills and 2 deaths like you, Mr. MLG Pro NoScopez360s McWinnerton.

And before anyone starts with the "grow a thicker skin" or "git gud" nonsense, please save your breath because I will NOT reply kindly. Sorry, I'm just very frustrated.

Taking a break from PoE2 after 500 hours and moved onto Arma Reforger, but haven't really gotten time to properly play it yet.

I'd love to hear impressions. I've never played the ARMA games, but I'd be interested in trying it out. I'm a console pleb, so I know the console experience will likely suck compared to any PC versions.

I'm on PS5.

I kinda like it, but still have to get used to the menus and navigation and such. It's clearly designed for PC.

There's also lots of screentearing on PS5 Pro and brightness seems too dark, or maybe it's the gamma, with no way to adjust it. Hopefully they will add an option to adjust the brightness.

Other than that, it's pretty fun, but it had a steep learning-curve. A lot more clunky than COD, but a lot more smooth than Hell Let Loose.

Still have to figure out all the mechanics in the game. Really a lot to learn about when you're going in blind.

Series X - Ninja Gaiden Black. Stuck with this one despite the rough beginning. On chapter 9. Alma was a bitch lol.
PC - started Doom Eternal for the second time. First time was a few years ago on PS but the gameplay is too hectic for what a controller can handle. On PC is where its at.

Just finished/platinumed the Secret of Mana PS4 remake on my PS5 with the original soundtrack. Would like more 1:1 remake like these, with the option to keep the original soundtrack.
Started the Burning Shore's dlc and I 'm blown away by it's visuals. I dream of a Zelda with graphics like these...

Just finished Gears Tactics.
Great game. I haven't played a battlefield tactics game in a long time. This one is very modern. It quickly teaches you how to play it and it works well enough with a controller (it does support mouse/keyboard on Xbox, though).
It's unnecessarily padded with filler missions that really only should have taken place once each. The game was good enough and long enough that it didn't need them, but that's a minor complaint. It has a bad case of Debra Wilson-ism. But that's only in the cutscenes.
Recommended for anyone looking to get off the action treadmill for a moment.

7.5/10

Just a general PSA.

The *AMAZING* Mass Effect Legendary Edition is currently on sale for just $5.99 on Steam and Xbox.

That's $2 per game w/DLC, arguably the best trilogy in gaming.

For anyone buying this, make sure to check out the PcGamingWiki page and installing the few mods it recommends. Mass Effect 1 has the lighting completely fucked and needs a mod to be fixed.

9 Hours into the game

I bought the Korean Version of the game off of Steam. I found a MTL English Fan Patch. There's lot of errors but it does it job and I can still understand the story. The main story, side events and some sidequests are fully translated. The rest is in Korean. So far I'm loving it and am happy to be back playing as Van and his friends. I love the cast and it's good to see them back and listening to their humorous interactions between each other. So far the story is really good. And the gameplay is excellent as always. I also got all three volumes of Bunnysuit DLC and I put every female I can use in Bunnysuits.

As for Fantasian, I'm going back once I beat Kai No Kiseki

Finished all the DLC cases in Case of the Golden Idol with my girlfriend - I highly recommend everything about that game to anyone with a passing interest in puzzle / point-and-click / detective games. The DLCs are a brilliant send off to the game, both narratively and mechanically, upping the challenge in very satisfying ways. Might wait a bit with Rise of the Golden Idol to let the first game sink in a bit more. Considering other narratively led puzzle games like Ghost Trick, Heaven's Vault, and Paradise Killer.

In Metaphor Refantazio I just beat the 4th main dungeon and very excited to see where the story goes next. The writing remains excellent and I'm really enjoying how the main cast and Followers all reflect different ideological, ethical, and philosophical standpoints throughout their individual arcs. Even embracing some darker stuff and not just letting everyone be pure paragons of virtue. Most recently, a well-intentioned character seems to be overcorrecting for prior tragedies and is skirting authoritarian methods. Its a shame the Follower quests aren't fully voiced, given the quality of the writing and voice acting, but I hope the success of the game will make more space for that in the studios future games.

Btw, I'm running Arma on PS5 Pro in Performance mode.

As far as I've noticed, the onscreen frame counter shows ~59fps on average (and good servers 20-30ms ping).
Framerate might dip during heavy fights or something, but haven't ran into those yet, and didn't notice any major framedrops during some skirmishes or whatever.

Beat yurukill. Fun game mixing up a vertical shooter with a mystery adventure. Started playing trails through daybreak. Enjoying it so far. Also tried and gave up playing the final telltale walking dead game. Even at $5 it was a waste of money.

Understandable.

If you want to proceed with the rest of the franchise afterward, pretty much all the entries have been localized by now with the exception of the last 2 Trails through Daybreak games, one of which is releasing in Feb and the other should be later this year or early next.

I started the series with Daybreak, haha. I was thinking of going back and playing from the start after I finished it, then they announced a remake of this first game so I just said screw it.

Cool, thanks for that. I'm on a base PS5 with no plans of upgrading. I'll see if there are any reviews or performance vids for the PS5 base version, although I doubt it lol
