Gonna throw a curveball and say Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

I know Henry is the obvious choice for many and I have no problems with him but I really think Aaron Taylor-Johnson would absolutely crush it as Bond.

Idres Elba would have been perfect about 10 or maybe even 5 years ago. He'd still work out fine for a few movies, but ideally you'd want to cast someone young enough where they're in near peak athletic shape while still being old enough that it's believable they've acquired enough world experience to deal with whatever task is at hand.

Somewhere around 40 is probably the ideal age for someone you'd want to cast to stay in the role for the next 15-20 years.

Are there two John Boyegas or is he getting his vote split deliberately :p

Anyhoo, as far as I'm concerned James Bond is ALWAYS a cishet white male. His entire core character is "ole england" and I just don't think you can properly address that with any POC character or a female.

That said, I'm 100% OPEN to a "00 Bureau" show/film series that follows OTHER 00 agents of various types.

But Bond.....100% straight white english dude, Moneypenny is a flirty secretary, M is cranky at him, and Q is exasperated with him. Thats what I want when I give up my time for a Bond film and that is the only thing that I will accept. If you want an asian 00 agent (which makes a TON of sense given the british involvement in SE asia) have him/her be 004 (with the 'death' connotation) and go at it. Girl agent films are pretty hit or miss (mostly miss) but again, the right actress can pull it off. If you just look at the demographics, black brits are less than 1 in 20 people, and less than 1 in 100 military officers (where presumably MI6 pulls a lot of their assassins). Despite the BBC making it seem like England is 50% black, it just ain't so.

Out, purely for his fucking stupid comments wanting kitchen knives to be blunt.

I think Theo James would be the best fit. From a business perspective he's known but not so known that people will see HIM instead of Bond (unlike if someone like Elba took the role.)

I know that's something they've looked for in the past.

I think Hardy could probably pull it off too since he doesn't really play "Tom Hardy" in every role.

I am Become Bilbo Baggins
Ideally somebody who can pull off the character from Ian Fleming's novels.

They should be British to start off with. I also don't want to see a pussy, beta male Bond. No, we need the ultra masculine "I'll fuck any women with a pulse" action hero, James Bond.

Amazon productions are hit and miss. If they respect the source material then we'll be fine. If they go in a different direction to "subvert expectations" then it will fail.

Michael B. Jordan should play Blade.

Henry Cavill - If they could get him to match his character from Mission Impossible then i'm pretty sure he'll pass it off as James Bond "hopefully".

Honestly, Dwayne Johnson (The Rock). Have him trim down to 225 and give him a quality toupee and I think they could get 2 solid Bond films out of him. He might be Roger Moore old but he can still play 40 years old pretty well.

First off, nobody who's black. No women.

Secondly, an unknown or low profile actor.

If only 'big names' then I vote for ROBERT PATRICK (THE BATMAN).
