Nah. This was a good movie. People have rose tinted glasses when it comes to the second one, Aliens. This is a better sequel. Aliens is not some timeless classic, it completely gutted all the horror and suspense elements from the original. The original is a damn masterpiece. This is easily the best sequel to me. Its the only one to nail Horror, gore/nastiness AND action. The second one was way over the top, without any horror in it. People let nostalgia cloud their judgement. I re-watched it the day before this came out, this is better

It'll be at its best day one gamepass PC mate no need to wait:)
Most games (maybe even more so those released to hit a marketing beat for Game Pass) are often not finished until 3-6 months later. I'll let you guys beta test it for me :messenger_grinning_smiling:

Only the 2nds... clearly a reference to eating leftovers :messenger_tears_of_joy::messenger_tears_of_joy::messenger_tears_of_joy:
I know the reference, but it doesn't really apply to games unless they're worse than what came before them or they were bad to begin with. "Haha, you're getting the game later..... sloppy seconds....." Sounds like something a grade schooler would boast about.

They could have gone close to Spidey in sales if it was third person. I mean Naughty games ain't made one for years now. No Tomb Raider game, this was the good opportunity.
So more of this same vs something more unique. Sounds like a great plan. Yes, they would probably sell more, but I think their goal was homage to Indiana jones trilogy and to Indy fans so they can play/feel like Indy did.

That’s why most of Sony exclusives don’t interest me, Sony plays it safe with their formula. This on the other hand is much more interesting.

Most perfect tag of all time, guy was in the Alien thread yesterday claiming Romulus is a better movie than Aliens.

Must have been tough growning up getting beat up for being wrong all the time.
😂 it’s not better than Aliens or even Alien but it’s definitely not bad. I’d say it sits pretty comfortably at 3. Take that for what it’s worth considering the rest are awful.

a 4-month timed exclusive...

LOL

Basically Xbox has the beta test version
Enjoy your 4 month old game.

Xbox/PC players will have finished and moved on LONG before you get to finally buy it for £70.

Thats the kind of time frame that benefits MS for any of its games it wants to put onto PS. It's a long enough lead time to keep the Xbox fans happy with their console choice, and ultimately brings in more money from PS.

Imagine the seismic shift were COD to be released 4 months later on PS!

This makes multiple times I'm reading this. Y'all really think the graphics look that dated/bad?
I'm not saying that the graphics are bad, but they don't impress me like Wolfenstein 2 did back in the day. The character design or the way the hands look in first person, seem very "doll-like" to me... I don't know, it gives me the feeling of being an intergenerational game.

I also recognize that the game doesn't appeal to me at all, I find it boring even in videos.

I was considering holding on to my X for this game, but couldn't get confirmation it would be 60. I'll play it through GFN/GPU assuming it comes to the Nvidia service but it would have been good to have confirmation a bit earlier.

I’m trying to figure out which version of the game some in here have been witnessing. Is there a secret Switch port that I’m not familiar with? On my end, the game has looked wholly impressive since it was first announced proper during last year’s Xbox showcase. The fact that it’ll run at 60fps on both Series consoles is nothing but a positive thing for those owners, and is an impressive feat on its own, no matter how good the engine is that’s behind it. These consoles are still quite performant when work is put into them, for Xbox and base PS5.

And, the whole port wars thing is just so… Juvenile dude, even if some of it might be simple jestering. If you get Indy on Xbox day 1, great. If you get it on PC and max it out, fantastic. If you own a PS5 and wait 4 months to get the game, wonderful, more people will be able to play the virtual toy. Like, it’s 2024, going on 25, some Xbox games are on PlayStation, PlayStation games are firmly on PC now, and I see no issues with either. More ways to play games and easier access for people who may only want one console, or can only afford one singular gaming device.

Your plastic tower box didn’t suddenly become a devalued paperweight because more people get to play more games, guys lol; it’s okay.
