I prefer the shading and fidelity on the right, but I think the frame rate looks better on the X.

Oh’ok Maybe that’s why. Usually when I boot I can see the download in progress but I have a 100m fiber internet so I may have skipped the notification

Absolutely. I was playing Horde mode on Gears 3 yesterday and could not believe it was the same game.

It can't be 2160, it's not enhanced, so the maximum Res is whatever the devs set it as, which I highly doubt is 2160

What if it's a dynamic resolution game? Don't those just scale to the hardware's power? Like halo 5?

If it uses dynamic res then certainly it could hit the high end of it's range, but since it's a emulated 360 title, the game still thinks it's running on a 360 unless they have "enhanced" it which probably means 1080p is the highest possible resolution. At least that's my understanding. If it were enhanced it could go much higher.

I don't see why you wouldn't see a change in WW2. It's super sampled.

It nerfs some assault rifles and makes the game enhanced for One X

Does your screen stutter at all on the main menu while it's loading? Gameplay is fine just that main menu when it is going inside the car and around when it prompts you to press a stutters abit

It's strange how the slightest little imperfection becomes far more obvious with games that have been improved, I noticed the same with some Pro games too.

I've been playing Forza 7 and it obviously looks fantastic with the enhancements but I really wish they'd done a better job with the aliasing with the 4K version as it's really starting to bug me now. So much of what I'm seeing looks amazing but because of that the shimmering stands out far more than it used to for me. I think I'd rather they used resources from elsewhere to completely remove the shimmering or at lest it would be nice to have an option to so people could chose what they preferred.

Yeah it highlights imperfections. Found the cutscenes in gow`4 way too soft now.

One game I don't think is getting much love on the enhanced side but I found to be profoundly better is Madden 18. I was completely caught off guard by how good and improved that looked over the standard version...and I thought the standard version looked really good this year. Beyond graphics the game play feels much more responsive and fast which was also surprising.

I've heard this a few places. Maybe I'll give the trial a go.

Picked up final fantasy 15 as enjoyed what I had played on the PS4 before. All I can say is a hugely better frame rate in high mode when compared to the Pro. So much smoother. Textures seem to have been increase too.

Campagne is beautiful. Playing it on my PS4 Pro instead of my Xbox One X and it looks fantastic in 4K HDR.

Yep I wasn’t blown away with Forza given the aliasing situation. I’d take an option for slightly reduced res or checkerboard rendering to get some temporal aa in there.
