I have lots of games on my hard drive that should be compatible but for some reason they are not showing as being shrinkable is it because they're all on external hard drive?

I have all the patch downloads but my wife and I played destiny 2 last night and it wasn't showing as HDR on our tvs (TCL p605)... Will try a hard reset/unplug but maybe there's something up with the patch?
Really, I have the same tv and mine works fine. Definitely check to see if it updated.

Basically, the game was hurt by a variety of factors:
- Basic franchise fatigue
- Weak marketing compared to 1-3
- Judgement, the preceding game in the series, was handled by another developer and seen as a side story cash-in. It probably shouldn't have been made (I liked the campaign personally, just finished it last week via BC)
- Many of the casual console gamers that made Gears 1-3 big went PS4 this gen so far fewer people available to buy the game
- Many PC gamers will only buy from Steam and Gears 4 was Windows store exclusive
- MS gave away a ton of free BC Gears games near that time through various promotions
It's a shame because Gears 4 is beautiful and I really dig the Gears gameplay, but as a franchise it just needs to rest for a while and maybe come back next gen with a big splash.

Where is all the Atmos enabled games? Hope support for this grows. Battlefront for PC in Atmos is amazing! Nothing like the unique sound of a Tie Fighter flying overhead in an Atmos enabled system.

Are you in the preview program?
I was at one time, but their customer service had me request to leave the service to try and fix some issues... don't even know if that request completed or not.
Wondering if that has something to do with it :/

There are only a handful of games that support Atmos currently. Xbox titles include Gears of War 4, Super Luckys Tale, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Assassins Creed Origins. More are listed at Dolby's site. I wouldn't expect widespread game support any time soon, though. The amount of users that can actually use the Atmos encoding is probably < 1% so developers have little incentive to do the work unless there are partnerships or business deals involved.

Alright quick update... we did the hard reset unplug of our X1X systems and when we booted everything back up it was showing as HDR etc. So for anyone else who isn't seeing the enhancements give that a shot.

Negative. My x is not. I've read a few people saying you need to have some free space there for the shrinkable games process to do its. No clue if it's true though.

Played a bit of the Destiny 2 Free Trial, got to The Farm. Looks pretty good, the HDR seems subtle and not totally overblown. Although I have no basis for comparison as I had only played the Beta prior to this.

Why does the ad on the xbox one dash say 130 enhanced games, but when you go to the MS store under enhanced there are 78? Did I miss something? Makes it sound like its that many right now. I know games are being worked on, but that's quite misleading IMO. Why not say 70 plus now with more on the way?

I'm curious. When you look under enhanced in the store, does it include all the BC OG Xbox and the enhanced 360 titles as well? Not that it would make up the difference.
I guess a marketer could argue that many games are "enhanced" even without X-specific patches because they run with better framerates and adaptive resolutions on the X than they did before. But I totally understand what you mean.

Hey, was hoping someone could help me out. Im really curious about how Fallout 4 runs with the unofficial patch?
I rented it a couple days ago, but couldnt install several mods because they required you have all the DLC. That was pretty annoying, but even more so after I installed a couple mods that I could get and went back to the game and found the frame rate was tanking.
So my question becomes is Fallout 4 game of the year Edition worth it on Xbox One X? Does the unofficial patch fix some of the frame rate issues. Im confused because I see videos of people playing on YouTube with mods and it seems fairly stable.

The framerate issues are still there in intence action and on top of that high tower.

I just bought a new setup, a 55 LGB7A. Super eager...got it running... and games looked great.
2 Days later, I come home... television no longer works.
Exchange happens on Saturday.
This is why I hate making large purchases for electronics... it's when I'm most excited... it takes a crap on me. (Like life.)
I did try several games, including 5 minutes with D2 and it looked very good. I find myself mulling over my One X Enhanced games just wishing some of them were good. Hell, I even asked for some games for Christmas I don't necessarily want just so that I can look at them in 4K HDR. Ugh... what have I become.

Look at it this way my friend, everything will work itself out in the end. You get your new TV on Sat, which works it's way to enjoying your new One X.
The games i found to look crazy good are...
1. Rise of the Tomb Raider simply amazing!
2. Wolfenstein New Colossus is JAW DROPPING!!!
3. COD WW2 looks GREAT
4. Star Wars Battlefront 2 looks INCREDIBLE!!!
5. Fallout 4 is just Jaw Dropping in 4k!!! This is what i am playing at the moment!
6. Killer Instinct got SO MANY compliments from Family members on ThanksGivings on how amazing it looked on my 65" 4K HDR Screen! This game is a must IMO as a stand out, it is simply GORGEOUS!!!

I want to play Fallout New Vegas ( again ) , I have an original Xbox one and today got an Xbox X . As far as I know the game does not has any patch or enhance work like Fallout 3; so in this situation can I expect an improvement playing the game on Xbone X due to its hardware , and if yes what kind of?

You'll get an improvement, but not a whole lot. You get more stable frame rate, forced v-sync, and better texture filtering.

I bought one on ebay with no game case. Keep checking. Average price is 25. Dont buy the game of the year edition, just the standard season 1 complete edition
