Really sad that EA seems to be no longer making patches for older games.
I would appreciate X-patches for Mass Effect Andromeda, BF1 or even BF4. And maybe even x-patches for the old Mass Effect entries. Just a resolution bump would really be nice.

Are there any rumors which xb360 game get's the next x-patch? At least MS could upres all their games.

btw, did anybody notice that Outcast second contact is no longer on the list for enhanced games? It was there just when they released the list.

Agreed. Not making a patch for the One X just made me skip supporting their older games. I wanted to buy the season pass a few weeks ago when it was on sale, it because they don’t support my new hardware the. I just can’t support them.

Just got word from the Elex twitter that the X patch is currently in submission.

Great stuff. I had absolutely zero idea of what this game was and who developed it until you posted this. I just watched a review for it on YouTube and I now have it in my "to buy" list. Other developers take note.

Elex should look great on the X too as it really shines in some of the PC footage that I've seen.

STILL no RE7 patch...? God, Capcom, get it together man... And no Doom?! That one shocks me the most, coming from the Gods that made it... Shit like EA not doing BF1 patches I get, I mean... Its EA. They think about how much $$$ they will make, every time. They likely wont be thinking "Hey lets release this patch, at the same time as a massive sale... BOOM". Its like ME:A, the ONLY Mass Effect game I never finished. But I would easily go back and finish it if they patched it up... But nah, that game flopped, don't give it any attention...

Yeah, that's what I was referring to. Too bad we haven't gotten one yet from BF1. The x does a good job with brute force on BF1 but any kind of patch would have been wonderful. Meanwhile, I'm over here racking up scorestreaks and shooting Nazi zombies in dynamic 4k@60.....

If I had to make a shortlist of Xbox 360 titles that I wanted to see get the 4k treatment, then TW2 would be right towards the top. It will completely make my day if it ends up being true.

What novel are you up to? I stopped at Lady of the Lake because I didn't want to run out of Witcher novels to read whilst waiting for Season of Storms to be translated .

Yep.

This is a pretty amazing development they’ve actually baked the ability to switch the enhanced mode on or off via the xbox360 mini-dash.

That'll be the emulator update to add the new performance vs graphics toggle mentioned in Major Nelson's post (you can now switch between the enhanced rendering and the original resolution/etc on X enhanced back-compat titles).

...So not only do we get Crackdown added to the BC list today but we also get free 4k updates for The Witcher 3, Fable Anniversary and Forza Horizon as well.

Microsoft is dropping some major bombs. Today is a good day to be an Xbox owner.

The Witcher 2 and Forza Horizon are going to look ridiculous in ~4k. And I just realised, Forza Horizon 1 will now be running in a higher resolution than its sequel .

FYI when I booted my XB1X system this morning the new batch of 4k enhanced 360 games were all of a sudden showing under the enhanced titles filter in My Games & Apps... just in case anyone else was having this issue. I performed multiple hard resets and stuff and nothing had fixed it up until this morning.

I just used the standard screenshot function. The pause menu will come up in Forza but the screenshot taken will be from the moment just before it appears (the moment you pressed the Guide/Xbox button on the controller). You may have to do it quickly; I hover my left thumb over the Guide button and my right thumb over the Y and press them quickly in sequence. Hopefully the next gen Xbox will receive a dedicated screenshot button like on the Dual Shock 4 because it's a little bit cumbersome (at least it is for me).

I still need to track down a copy of this. The price that the version with the slipcase is going for on eBay though is a bit steep.

You may want to check the Updates tab on your Xbox one X. There's a 1GB update for Mass Effect 3.

I put about four hours into it yesterday and I am about to play it again shortly . It looks razor sharp on the X and plays brilliantly. It's just as much fun now as it was back in 2007. I can take some screenshots later and post them here if you like. There are already a couple in the Xbox Performance Mode Feature thread if you wanted to check them out.
