Has anyone tested crackdown yet? Is it even out yet?

I've played about 3 hours so far, runs great. Everything is extremely sharp looking, high detail, and the action is silky smooth. The game is an absolute blast.

At this point I am inclined to believe Doom isn’t getting a patch.

Best case is that Bethesda will announce the next game at E3 and offer a patch in the mean time.

Deus Ex Mankind Divided is another game that needs it. The PS4 Pro version looks incredible.

Yep that Outbreak is the Zombies 2PvE mode they added with latest patch - interestingly the PvE was always lower fps than PvP (30v60) due to the AI CPU hit.

I’m starting to get inceasingly skeptical that a Doom or Diviison patch will ever see the light of day. It just doesn’t make sense to me that they would take this long to release. These games are too old fo delicate much in the way of resources. I would expect the 1X patches to just be quick and dirty ports of the ps4 pro version. That shouldn’t take this long.

I'm impatiently waiting for news on that one too. I'll double dip on a copy for my X as soon as it's announced.

Edit: *technically triple dip as I originally bought it for first time on the Xbox One. I then sold it on immediately after throwing up in my mouth after seeing it in "900p" resolution with their *absurdly heavy* post process anti-aliasing. The entire game is a smudge on the OG Xbox One. The PS4 version was pin sharp by comparison. It'd be nice to finally receive a decent Xbox conversion with some actual care applied to it from the dev team. Don't let your fans down Bethesda.

I am extremely disappointed with Rainbow Six Siege. STILL no enhancement patch so we'll be missing the outbreak event and the unlocked framerate seems to have only translated into extreme screen tearing that wasn't there before and mixed with the 720p on my 4k monitor it reminds me of PS1-style jelly walls. And now I've gotten my new PC, so I could play it on that, but I've already bought the game once and I'm not going to double dip on a game I haven't even gotten into yet because the developer seems to be selective in who they care about. This is a burn that lowers my opinion of both companies. I think going forward I'm going to focus on Blizzard and MS games because they seem to actually give a shit about what people who pay money are experiencing.

Hopefully the complete silence regarding the Prey Xbox One X update (and its absence on the official MS list) is just due to Bethesda's marketing department wanting to do a combined marketing push with the DLC announcement in conjunction with a 4k update for the X (and with any luck, DOOM's update will coincide with that as well).

Is Elex still getting an X patch? Dying to start playing it, but want to wait for the patch.

That's odd. Isn't that patch out yet? It's meant to be running at 1800p native on the X (compared to a low-resolution checkerboard solution on the PS4 Pro). The dev team announced that in December last year. It's still sitting on my backlog of games to pick up but I'll very quickly remove it if they've fallen asleep at the wheel.

Very much so. As someone whose gameplay time consists of 99% of multiplat games: it's fantastic. I think Monster Hunter is the only questionable one that I can think of and that's due to developer incompetence/negligence. The visual gap is only going to get larger now that the X exists in the development pipeline for major developers and isn't just an after thought to be quickly patched with support post-release. It's a good time to own an X.
