still nothing. says by 8. it's 7:45. This is why I hate Amazon delivery. There are no updates and no service center to get it from. I'm at the whim of some uber driver.
Number 1 best reason not to shop there imo.

Me too. Ordered 8/20 from Target. Due from Fedex SmartPost on Monday 11/13. I called to complain and the manager on the phone could only offer me a $5 gift card when I asked for it. She said I should have picked "ship to store".Ordered from Target on August 21st, it shipped this past Sunday, has an estimated delivery date of 11/14 via FedEx; Texas to Maryland. That is ridiculously slow shipping. Never will I order from Target again.
they've been great until recently when they started using AMZN delivery half the time. I want UPS. They are trackable and accountable. I don't want some dude in a car with my stuff.
So UPS emailed me at half seven last night to say they weren't coming.
They really are the shittiest courier service in the world.
I can't even put a complaint in or use online chat as it is an international shipment.
Never heard so much bollocks in my life.
After waiting in all day cos they said delivery would be 7th November.
Is it just me or has amazon customer service went from one of the best 5 years ago to one of the worst.
Kind of as a personal experiment and mostly as a favor to friends, I ended up ordering (4) Scorpio editions from (4) different stores. Here's how it has gone so far:
1) Amazon:
After bitching and moaning on customer service, Amazon came thru and it arrived late last night. If I hadn't gone on to customer chat Id still be waiting until the 9th. Inexcusable how badly Amazon fucked up this launch, but in my case individualized Customer service was pretty good when I went on and nicely threatened to return the order if I received it later than the 7th. Shouldn't have to so this but at least it got here sort of "on time".
2) Best Buy: Won't arrive until the 9th. Surprised as BB is usually top notch and bc of GCU my first and usually only choice for game purchases. Not great performance here.
3) Gamestop: Arrived early afternoon on the 7th. Didn't have to contact anyone. It just arrived. For all the justifiable shit that Gamestop gets on GAF for horrible corporate policies, they won this little contest hands down.
4) Target: Ordered way back when they were first available. Received an email won't be receiving the Scorpio until the 11th. Lol Unacceptably slow shipping. Never again.
Soooo...Gamestop surprisingly wins this going away. Amazon edges Best Buy for second place just barely bc Amazon has somewhat responsive Customer service that may be able to correct slow fulfillment/shipping issues if you complain nicely. Best Buy "customer service" is powerless by comparison. You get it when u get it. Target is totally out of the loop and has comparably clueless/nonexistent customer service.
So, that's been my experience thus far. Will update if anything changes.
Is there supposed to be some hdr demo showcase and if yes, how do I access it?
Amazon UK emailed me with £20 promotional credit because my Scorpio is coming a day late (today).
Ok I've caved in and bought one on pre-order but should get by the end of November. Screenshots and comments on here swayed me.
Now just to save to upgrade my midrange HDR 4K to an OLED one.
