The most expensive showcase in history at $7B dollars
Pretty great main show, but yeah, they’ve had better.Starfield saved it and thats about it. I've seen better MS shows at past E3.
Buckle up, because I hear they're spending almost $70 billion on next year's show.
Ah just looking at the you tube counts, it don’t add up… just the direct 4k one has like just 3.2 Mill….
I think they're counting cumulative views of individual videos hosted on their channels as well.
OMG we hate internet view counts now.Xbox told you they hated YouTube views before?
Kinda like 20 millions Halo infinite players, means nothing really.
OMG we hate internet view counts now.
i got distracted while watching it, so i'm thinking one of those is actually more like 3/4 of a whole view...It was probably over 150 million if you count how many people watched it together I had a party for it that drew 30
Great news!It was a good show and this feels deserved.
With Over 92 Million Views, Fans Made This the Most-Watched Xbox Show Ever - Xbox Wire
It’s been a little over a month since fans around the world enjoyed the Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct and we’re delighted to say that we saw over 92 million views across our first ever double feature, trailers, and segments from the shows.news.xbox.com
Plus anyone that viewed a trailer also apparently. It combined the individual views of the 27 games announced during the conference along with the stream and direct views over a 7-day period.
Look, man. I just want to glass (or destroy) a planet. As long as there is a quest where I can do that for the lulz, I am getting my money's worth as far as I am concerned.Millions of people are going to be disappointed when this game is just the standard Bethsoft open world whatever with space crabs or whatever this time.
I look forward to buying it with all the DLC for a tenner in a couple of years time. I'll install a mod so that i can play as Hatsune Miku wielding a dildo-katana and then lose interest after a couple of hours of spelunking identikit space caves and never touch the game again.
A true classic.
If you have been following Starfield threads on here, thats what people want, myself included. Fallout/Skyrim in space. The fact we seem to be getting a whole lot more on top of that is just icing on the cake.Millions of people are going to be disappointed when this game is just the standard Bethsoft open world whatever with space crabs or whatever this time.
Starfield is gonna shake up the RPG genre when it releases. Will be one of those games that its hard to go back to other shit afterwards
the standard Bethsoft open world
We might see the premium edition player numbers from the early access players, like we did with Forza Horizon 5 through the first achievement, those are real sales. FH5 had a couple million iirc, but that was on Xbox One too.In a way its a bit of a shame the game is on Gamepass because it would of been quite interesting to see how one of these 'event' games would sell just on Xbox and PC.
Myself i'm buying it on Steam anyway, even though i have Gamepass.

Holy moly it’s not even a spin at this point, it’s either brain damage or full dishonesty.LOL, that ship has sailed a long time ago, there is no going back from this model now, no matter how unsustainable EVERY publisher has said it is, including Kotick Under Oath.
A business model that is entirely founded on economic untruth, if it was built on a sustainable model it would at least be respectable.
Didn’t you say you have GP in another post? Why buy it when you can be bored with it as part of your sub?Millions of people are going to be disappointed when this game is just the standard Bethsoft open world whatever with space crabs or whatever this time.

I'm not sure thats entirely true as Gamepass made over 2bil last year (or the year before, cant remember which), and people were estimating using known Gamepass payouts for games, and the Epic leaks, that MS probably spent in the 500-800mil range to run Gamepass that year and the provided games.LOL, that ship has sailed a long time ago, there is no going back from this model now, no matter how unsustainable EVERY publisher has said it is, including Kotick Under Oath.

It's always the Neo's, always.
Since when does a game from Todd "mfing god" Howard need help? The more eyes on Starfield the better.
How much profit did gamepass make? Absolute cook the book wizardry economics, that gamepass makes a profit for Microsoft. It simply is not sustainable.I'm not sure thats entirely true as Gamepass made over 2bil last year (or the year before, cant remember which), and people were estimating using known Gamepass payouts for games, and the Epic leaks, that MS probably spent in the 500-800mil range to run Gamepass that year and the provided games.
In fact it shut up the 'Gamepass is unsustainable' deadites on here up for a few months lol.
Who cares, or are you a MSFT employee or shareholder? How much profit did gamepass make? Absolute cook the book wizardry economics, that gamepass makes a profit for Microsoft. It simply is not sustainable.
