Thats why i wanted her. I dont really like to play with stunners but having a stunner adding some daze while im controlling a DPS would be great. But thanks to the wonderfull drop rates and my shitty luck in this game pulls, i guess that idea is now gone as i only have 10 pulls left. Probably will only have enough pulls to garantee a new character after Amby and Trigger banners are gone.

I lost my 50/50 to freaking Soldier 11. I didn’t have her, but I really wanted Eve. I’ve been F2P, my pulls have been godly and I thought my rng would pull through again. Only character I’m missing now are Lighter (never bothered to pull for him) and Eve. I think this is gonna be the first time I spend some $.

Has to be deliberate. I never lost the 50/50 ever, and i’ve been playing since 1.2 but to lose Evelyn and her engine to Soldier 11 AND her engine speaks of malice on Hoyo’s front.

Yeah, I haven't seen anything like it before and especially given that it's centered around Obol Squad which'll launch in 20 days. There's just too many... "coincidences". I mean, you'd think that they'll make Void Hunter difficult to get and yet almost everyone got her here day one without too many issues (with a few exceptions). I mean, S11 is not bad as a character, just like an agent and in combat with extremely basic move set and terrible mindscapes.

Again, I think they made it on purpose so that it could be difficult after 1.5 to get both SAnby and Trigger (not to mention their W-Engines) without paying and even if you pay. Is there any news how the game is doing in terms of $ over the last few monts? Is it just like before and barely 40 million?

Small test i did while farming materials for Koleda skills. The boss had weakness against Fire and resistance against physical. So perfect oportunity to see if my new Fire team could beat my Miyabi team and other of my strong teams. Jane Doe team results not really viable in this boss cuz boss resistance to physical.

Teams used and how fast they killed the boss: (Red = Boss has resist against this character DMG, Green = Boss is weak against this character DMG)

- Miyabi + Yanagi + Caeser ~45 seconds (1 run)
- Yanagi + Burnice + Caeser ~43 seconds (1 run)
- Jane Doe + Seth ~ more than 1 minute (1 run)
- Evelyn + Koleda + Caeser ~38 seconds ( multiple runs, most runs ended in the 40-45 seconds)

So while im still getting used to Evelyn, she seems pretty good and the best Fire DMG dealer in the game. In a neutral enviroment she feels as strong as Jane Doe and Yanagi. So i agree with this tier list.

Is she a must pull? Ofc yes, have you seen them ass and titties? If you dont care about that or dont need a fire damage dealer, not really. All this characters will eventually be power crept anyway, so my advice, pulls for the characters you like and seem fun to play to you.

Shes very fun to play but require alot of on field time to build up her stacks and deal big damage, similar to Jane Doe, so have that in mind when building a team around her. She also has synergy with stunners or supporters, so make sure you put a stunner or suporter in her team cuz she deals more damage if have good synergy. No doubt Astra is her best team mate, but she works well with multiple characters cuz she dosent gain synergy from same faction.

43% seems a bit low for an average of 50%, i would consider between 47% and 53% in the normal range. Brown Dust 2 actually shows your rates compared to the advertized rates and its usually only off by small margins. Here is the rates from my game that i play for around 12 months.

So in BD2, the banners have a 3% drop rate for 5 star character, 1.5% for the banner character and another 1.5% for a random 5 star character. This shows in 12 months my average rates for the character banners are actually above, but very close to the advertized rates, same for the random 5 star drops that are below but also pretty close to the advertized.
1.5811% + 1.4743% = 3,0554% , so pretty much aligned with the advertized 3% drop rates

While 43% can be just due to bad RNG, its very sus to be that low, especially because when this stuff happens is never in favor of the players. Its not the 1st time gacha devs are caught manipulating the drop rates, but at the same time as shitty as Hoyo is, i doubt they actually go that low and risk lawsuits. If you don’t have a fire dps, I’d say Evelyn is awesome. And even if you do, she’s like really fun to play. I’m surprised quite a few people seem to be skipping her.

For some of us it’s a cost benefit analysis. Pull her now, and miss out on another character next patch. Evelyn seems great, but I’d rather have Silver Anby if that’s my choice. Even if Anby is “worse” lol, I like her.

The A rank engine from the last event is good for her (Marcato Desire). My Evelyn ended up with 85% crit rate and 120 crit damage just by farming disks in 1 day.

I need to switch my disk 4 from crit rate to crit dmg cuz 85% is overkill as she gets passive crit rate from her core skill. She needs a total of 80% crit rate to active one of her big damage multipliers.

Yeah, I've been using the same engine. Have 65% crit rate and 135 crit damage. I'm pretty ok with the substat rolls I've gotten on my discs, but I think I'll try to improve my CD rolls a bit more and maybe bring them to 150.

Decided to go for Pen Ratio to see how it'll work, but I have Fire DMG disc ready to go in case it'll be more optimal. Stopped at 70.6% of Crit Rate just to not over crit cuz I've 52% of crit buffs and passives in total so if one doesn't activate the second one will. Maybe I'll swap fire discs with attack ones at some point if I'll get good substats to boost flat DMG a bit, but for now I'm good.

Also can confirm that she's basically fire Jane cuz I get pretty similar complete times with her, but Jane is better just cuz of massive Assault triggers and instant wipeouts of elite bosses with 20% HP left even in some situations - Evelyn can't do this shit.

I can sort of confirm this based on my own experience. Otherwise I can't explain how I got 4 Miyabi's 1,5 months ago.

Well, looks like there's no need to farm old discs as there's two sets coming in 1.6 speficially for SAnby and Trigger. Also, Obol no more, it'a NEDF Silver Squad now.
