If you didn’t check your news feed at all on Thursday (June 25), there’s a good chance you haven’t yet heard about Shia LaBeouf‘s arrest at the Broadway show Cabaret… so let us fill you in.

The 28-year-old actor was arrested and escorted out of the theater Studio 54 during the musical’s intermission after he become disorderly during the first act of the show. There was a picture posted on Instagram of him getting led out of the theater. See it here:

News later surfaced that Shia had been smoking cigarettes during the performance and became disorderly among the other patrons. He allegedly was talking loudly throughout the show and even hitting other audience members on the behind. Other audience reports said that he wouldn’t sit down during the performance.

After being escorted out of the theater, Shia was taken to the Midtown North precinct to be questioned by cops. When the NYPD was about to take the handcuffs off the actor, he reportedly told them, “F–k you. I’ll f–k you up.” The cops then decided to not take the handcuffs off so Shia started spitting at them, which led the police to place him in a face mask.

Shia was officially charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of criminal trespassing. It seems he is still being held under arrest.

Just hours before his arrest, Shia was seen hanging out with fans around the Big Apple! He was wearing the same blue t-shirt that he was seen getting arrested in. It seems that he was in good spirits and joked around with the fans. Check out the photos and video:

I always liked him, and thought his acting was above par. i hope hell be alright., and that this is all for show.
 
Man, he is taking "not being famous any more" really badly.

A millionaire actor chasing a homeless man for his food? What the fuck. How insulting.
 
A very close friend of mine once went off the deep end like this, once he got treatment and medication he was totally fine and has been ever since.

This dude needs the same kind of help, unfortunately he's rich and keeps getting the attention he wants so it's unlikely he ever will.

That's the thing. He will be allowed to do all this stuff because the media will get views and make money. He will only get help if 1) He's arrested again 2) someone steps in. Otherwise everyone else will be pointing and laughing as he breaks down. It's sickening.
 
So why did all this happen? what was the reason for "I'm not famous anymore" and shit like that?

This implies it's in progress. I think he's already gone insane.

I bet within 6 to 12 months he'll come out and say it was some performance art thing and that he fooled everyone, and it will probably be a cover for him going through some fucked up shit.
 
It's the beard. The more facial hair someone has in the movies denotes how mentally unstable he is. The man with a troubled mind has no time to shave.

Personally, I think it's a shtick. As people have mentioned probably in the name of "performance art".
 
Sad.

He's a talented actor. (Yes he is. Don't judge him only on Transformers, Disturbia, etc. Seek out some of his earlier stuff.)

I hope he can get whatever help he needs and rebound (assuming this isn't some weird performance art thing, but look how well that worked for Joaquin - hint: not very).
 
That article left out the part where he was escorted out by the police in tears. A friend of ours was at the performance and saw the whole thing.
