Font is bigger, nice. There's actually a guide for the Overdrive color, nice. Looks like they also tone down the motion blur.
It seems the new character will be new party member, since she appeared in the middle of the story
The hooded guy vibe is kinda like Albedo from Xenosaga (or Nero from DMC5)

They made a lot of improvements to the game, not just the visuals. Xenoblade X had many problems on the original release, and not many people bought it. I think it's a fair price.

nah, I don't know about all that, this is still a remaster.
Will just wait for a sale or buy used or something.

I agree it seems very untouched. But most fans are probably just happy it exists at all. Didn't sound like they'd do a Switch port at all when they were asked questions about it in the early Switch days.

Kinda, you're not the main character of the story, your background is unknown but you're some kind of super soldier, it's really Elma's story.
You have to explore % of the map to unlock certain story missions.

There's like 20+ recruitable party members in the game and like 8 matter to the story at most but they're barely developed and the story is mid as fuck. Don't go in thinking you're getting some epic story. Also you have to play for like 40+ hours before you get the mechs.

It's a 300 hour game. There's so many examples of lame cash grabs it's so odd to pick this one to complain about. If any remaster is worth $60, it's this one.

Yes. They changed direction mid-development and switched to player avatar instead of a character like Shulk. The story is good but it's more emphasis on exploration.

Paid online will be a blight on this. Unless some major item acquisition changes were made (or recipes rebalanced), there's gonna be a ton of stuff impossible to obtain or unreasonably time-consuming.
I'll buy the game again only because it's a favourite but there's no way in hell I'm paying for online.
