Lords of the Fallen moderators in reddit are having a meltdown over the CEO

They want to cut ties with the entire developer team. I know reddit is already a joke in itself but this takes it to another level.

They say the CEO is a fascist, and then proceed to act like fascists themselves by banning all kinds of stuff, even the developer team. Why are these leftist so stupid? I will never understand it, its like they dont stop and think for a second and realize they are exactly the thing they are complaining about

Dude Reddit has been SPIRALING these past few weeks. Mods banning X links, banning users, death threats and allowing calls for violence, etc. Not good. The Admins better get things in order, or somebody else will.
 
Sounds like those mods literally have no life outside of reddit. They really need to touch some grass and get a woman who isn't plastic if u know what i mean.
 
I've been on reddit for 15 years and it's where the grass is blue and the sky is green. Even on non-political things like computers, they'll tell you everyone is buying AMD gpus. It really is their little fantasy world.
 
The fact this has zero updoots and almost every comment has been extremely critical of calling him a fascist gives me a lot of hope in humanity.
 
So what did he actually say? I followed the link to twitter and he just appears to be saying that attractive characters help to sell games and he will make sure to ad them to Lord of the Fallen 2.

Is that it?

They link to supposed evidence of the CEO being fascist.... it's a bunch of tweets of him basically saying "attractive main characters = good"
 
I still don't understand how a moderation of this kind can exist nowadays. The mods are actively revolting against a larger user base.

You'll see a ton of accounts that are fake or never comment except to push said agenda down your throat if you don't agree with the propaganda train that is happening daily on their. Needed to get that off my chest.
 
I wish people would stop posting Reddit links here the way they stopped posting Twitter links on Reddit. Let them fade away until their little bubble pops.

Reddit's recent behavior makes me want to quit and forget about this site, but then I realize there is now viable alternative to Reddit(

At the same time, I am really tired of this bullshit that this site makes me witness.

For example, I am in the Reddit's game leaks community. And they recently made a post about how they are banning posts from X in their group and will only allow BlueSky posts from now on.

Now Here is this news from this thread.

Elon Musk, please buy Reddit.

Why would you get banned for saying the truth? If I would get banned here for saying things like these, then I would leave this forum and never look back. NeoGAF is a safe place for free speech and this is why most of us are here

Reddit is a conglomerate of different communities, like 4chan. This would be like wanting all of youtube to die out due to one crappy content creator or 4chan to die out because you personally don't like /pol/ when the guys in /a/ don't give a shit about them.

It's not anyone here's fault that GAF thread makers keep focusing on the reddit communities they dislike instead of the ones they do.

I get why people are drawn to reddit. It's one ginormous discussion board, with a lot of traffic.

Problem is, the people there are generally insufferable twats. Each subreddit seems like one big circle jerk.
 
How are so many mods at that place activists? It seems like it's the case with every subreddit. Elon needs to buy it and clean house and watch the meltdowns ensue.
 
I think it's very worth noting that the response on reddit is overwhelmingly against the mods on this.

Most people, even those on reddit or wherever else, aren't anywhere near as extreme as the site policies. That goes for every corner of the internet, and every ideological echo chamber found therein.
