How are so many mods at that place activists? It seems like it's the case with every subreddit. Elon needs to buy it and clean house and watch the meltdowns ensue.

Not to mention even when Reddit was "fun" most of the upvoted comments were dumb crap always following the same stupid patterns (either lame joke->pun riffing of first joke or lame comment trying to be insightful->akschually-comment obnoxiously correcting previous comment)

I think over the next few years we'll see a lot of these community run subs - by whackjobs - get supplanted by more official ones. It's become too damaging to brands.
