As much as i love ND games and most of the story in their games, their vehicular sections have always felt to me to be a slog and just cumbersome to do. The Uncharted 4 sections with the trucks in the mud and winch are so grating in comparison to the rest of the game's sequences.

I cant imagine adding space combat to this game would be any better. Even with the leak about the fact that there will be vehicular sections kinda makes me indifferent.

But this is assuming that shaving her head is literally the only thing she is doing to mitigate detection. If one is attempting to reduce the chance of someone immediately recognizing them, altering ones asthetic is quick and easy. It can buy an extra moment, when an extra moment in time, can be the difference between being caught or escaping. There also is no reason to assume that this is the only measure she has taken.

In saying that, it is very likely that this leak is fake fanfic. I just don't agree with the way you came to that conclusion.

If the leak had explained that or Naughty Dog made it clear in the trailer what she was doing, sure. If they are privy to more info then why weren't they privy to her doing other things to conceal her identity?

I came to that conclusion because they didn't expand on it and assuming she did more isn't being hinted at, at all.

You know what is even more more absurd absurd, people think that the character model was 'uglified' compared to Tati Gabrielle even though there is footage of her without makeup and a shaved head on Twitter and looks exactly the same as the game model, so seems like yeh, plausible.

The reason for her bulky arms is that she grew up on a space station with 1.2x earth gravity, so her body adapted to the increased resistance. Naughty Dog went to great pains to make sure her arms, shoulders and neck are exactly 20% bigger than the real actress to mimic the increased gravity effect accurately. Not that it matters and I am only commenting because I have seen so many people make similar comments in threads for games they claim not to have any interest in so I have to ask, is there a lack of games in genres that you like where you expect ND to also fill in that hole or something? You don't have to like Uncharted but after UC1, UC2, UC3 and UC4, you should have got the message that, they are not making games that interest you.
