It's because of the Bond source being extremely masculine and gritty (imo, some of the books are grittier / more brutal than the films), with overly time-appropriate masculinity. Some of that, today, is certainly a bit "offensive" for "modern audiences", but highly important to Bond as his character, flaws, and the way he operates.
This is NOT like the Statham movies. Bond isn't all action. His character has depth, even flawed depth, that is important to how and who he is, and I can not fathom Amazon, a major US company, allowing these things to continue. NTTD was already a spit in the face of the character for most, and that was with EON still warding away as much as they could.
Not much hope here for the future of Bond, and I say that as a major fan.
