I really want that bird stuffed animal, artbook, and Extra Tracks CD!
That green color reminded me of Miku

I think this might be the oldest cast of characters in a new Atelier series (might be wrong though).

Alongside the latest trailer for the upcoming Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, Gust hosted an information broadcast delving into the newly unveiled facets.

A new graphic detailing the main cast’s ages, birthdays, and hobbies was revealed from the various avenues of information the hosts showcased.

The ages of the cast and their birthdays are listed below:
  • Yumia Liessfeldt – Age 21 – Birthday December 26
  • Viktor von Duerer – Age 25 – Birthday May 2
  • Isla von Duerer – Age – 21 – Birthday September 18
  • Nina Friede – Age ??? – Birthday February 4
  • Rutger Arendt – Age 23 – Birthday January 10
  • Lenja – Age ??? – Birthday July 16

Please don't botch the technical aspect of the game, everything else looks great.

Visually seems a bit underwhelming in the latest trailer, not very crisp either. Don't these games usually look very good?

And they say real-time combat, but it seems we cannot run around during combat?

They do, but not in a technical sense, it's usually the art direction that shines. The studio just doesn't seem equipped to do good visuals or performance and I wonder if it's using the same engine as Ryza 2/3 which also had issues, at least on console. Personally, I'd be really happy if they can do 1440p60 on PS5/Xbox, but I wouldn't be surprised if the game is 1080p or even locked to 30fps. We'll find out soon enough, I guess

They tend to dumb down the alchemy from game to game, but keep adding more unnecessary game mechanics. Still looks good, but I miss the shorter simpler older games. This looks like a 100 hour game.

I know Ryza 2 and 3 have 60 FPS so we should at least get that.

the singapore videogame classification board has approved ATELIER YUMIA: for sale in the country on March 21st

The player can encounter female characters who have voluptuous body proportions and wear outfits such as bikinis and skirts that reveal cleavage or expose parts of their midriffs and buttocks. There are also hot-spring scenes showing characters bathing and engaging in conversation, but without explicit details being depicted. Under the ADV16 rating, “still or moving images which may be mildly suggestive e.g. scantily-clad women in bikinis or lingerie” are permitted.

Uhh I was trying to hold off for later in the year and pick it up on sale, but this scratches so many brain itches. It basically ticks all the boxes for me. Backlog and wallet in a sorry state over the last few years

I really feel like they are trying to transition Atelier to being more of a mainstream JRPG with a "serious story" but as long as Atelier as a franchise keeps crafting as a core mechanic I don't see myself ever really being interested in it. Guess we'll see with this one how good the game will be
