Ok, I'm done. lol

I can't believe these pitiful idiots, asking for their opinions and their speech to be suppressed. Although I guess they don't have any opinions until the hive tells them what the correct opinions are.

like five hours of game time now...it's fun as hell, the more you upgrade/unlock stuff the better it gets

The robots are hilarious as f*ck. I won't spoil anything but they're savage....poor pig 😂

I don't like the main character but the companion is actually pretty funny at times.

If you think you're better for playing indies, go check yourself lol.
I've played indies which I've enjoyed much more than most AAA games. You are missing out on tons of cool games because of those prejudices of yours.

About 2 hours until the steam unlock.

Seen some people discussing this but there is no support for HDR in this game. It is an unreal engine 4 title and it's pretty rare that titles using this engine support HDR.

There are some aspects of the PC version that could have been better. To begin with, there is no support for High Dynamic Range (HDR) displays whatsoever, which is nearly unacceptable in 2023. The regular brightness setting is also disappointing because it's just a slider with no reference logo, unlike nearly all games made in the past two decades or so. Additionally, though Mundfish already revealed as much to Wccftech, it was still underwhelming to confirm that DualSense features like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, while available on PlayStation 5, aren't working at all in the PC version despite many games implementing them. We hope the developers will improve these aspects in a future patch.

Maybe my internet connection is fast enough to let me try at least the intro to see how it run maxed out on a 4080.

I never go to sleep before 2:00 am anyway:lollipop_grinning_sweat:

How in the world do you know I haven't played indies lol?

I love hollow knight (getting the sequel day 1), like fall guys, brawlhalla. Bought Hades and stardew Valley.

Indies are just modernized retro style games and I don't buy a consoles for that. They're great, but it's not what people mostly play.

I saw a video saying indies killed AAA gaming.
When? Cause I look at npds and tgas/goty awards and I don't see them killing anything. An indie game is added in tga just cause (at times).

People overrated how much they like them because it's not the genres AAA games usually use. If you look at indies, the most popular ones are 2d side scrollers/platformers, top down, narrative choice games and/or walking sims. They also have the same issue AAA has with stagnating genres, it's just that it happens with other genres but most people don't see that because, well, most people aren't used to play indies because... they're indies.

No, because those games were nowhere near as good as this one (although I personally enjoyed Days Gone and 1886)

Well that's your opinion, and not actual findings that people are biased towards sony. It's mostly resentment from your part towards sony success.

How you dismissed them earlier made me think so.

Not really. Games like Rimworld, Factorio, Rain World, Pony Island, The Hex, Doki Doki LC... There's nothing like them when it comes to retro games. Also "it's not what people mostly play"? Dude you don't know shit about what other people play, don't make assumptions like that.

Stop assuming. I know it's hard for gamers on online forums to stop assuming stuff from other people.

I don't even know or care the names you mentioned. People play AAA games for the most part. At least on consoles. Look at the ps store for example. Not assuming. You are tho.

Anyways, this wasn't my point.
The fact remains. Gamepass doesn't deliver on the AAA end.

Review thread is updated. Sadly it's not good :(

Not good? I think anything 75 and higher is good. Not great, but still a good game to play. Maybe something to wait a little bit for if you have other things in your back log or if it was a game you were already on the fence about, but 75 is not a bad score.

It seems now that gamers only play games that are 80 or higher, and even if it is 80 they are questioning if they should play it. For a game that is not from a well known studio, a new IP, and seems to be wanting to do more than an average shooter, a 75ish range is right where I expect it to be, unless they did something incredible.

And that's your problem. You have 0 interest or curiosity about those games becuse they are not AAA, which is was we were pointing out of your first post.

It's your loss mate.

I just told you I have played/bought indies.

I'm so confused.

Maybe not the ones you find digging.
I am not losing anything... because I don't want to play them in the first place.

Do you watch/play every game and movie is recommended to you?

No? Then idk why I need to spend my time with indies when most (not 100%) of my fun is with AAA.

Again, Gamepass can only deliver with indie games... and it's good that they have indies, but that's not what they need right now and proves the point that is not profitable.

Muahahaha this cunt was trying to virtue signal and dunk on the game and they banned him for saying the word bitch:messenger_tears_of_joy::messenger_tears_of_joy:

Hasta la vista, bitch.

Can't play this unfortunately,my PS5 controller is acting weird on PC game pass,it's ok on other games on the service though

Genuinely thought this game was gonna be terrible. I mean, the videos looked great, tooooo great. I'm happy it's decent and might give it a shot on the cheap.

From what i'm reading this game has the opposite problem of all the latest major pc releases, it runs surprisingly well considering how great it looks.

LMAO. Market the shit out of the game by nvidia, shove in everyones face that it'll have lots of raytracing features. No longer supports RT. "Maybe in the future".

tbh its probably for the best. Those prerelease trailers with shit fps were probably with RT on

I actually did look at the list and had a laugh at doki doki. Those are ps2 looking games there my friend, glad I didn't buy a next gen console for that.

The game seems to run pretty well on steam deck.

thanks to reeee for the link.

Also flawless widescreen was updated with a fov slider for the game, and people forced hdr with special K.

Definitely not where I'll be playing it but that's good news from an optimisation standpoint.

It's probably the RT causing stutters on the PC once again.

Maybe not... Fuck knows then.

I thought I would struggle to hit 60fps at 1440p with FSR,but I get 50-60fps(could be more but I can only get max 60fps on my tv) 4k max settings dipping into the 40s occasionally for a split second. It looks incredible,so I don't understand why games like Forspoken that look so shit, run so bad

You just proved my point, thanks.
There are just better looking indies lol. Spelunky 2 and temtem are others I enjoyed. Not proving anything.

Anyways. Xbox has indies lovers satisfied, which again, that wasn't my initial point.

My point was that they need to get that Blockbuster mass production gamers (which are the majority in consoles). They have starfield, but that looks to be another c2077 SO FAR.

So it's good that you're satisfied and I can see that, but what about me? Xbox has been ultra skipable since xbox one. I loved playing gears and halo 3/reach back then. Now? Meh

From what i'm seeing it looks vastly better than DS remake, wild hearts and hogwarts and at least on par with requiem (if not better) while running much better, and with no stutter at all.

A dude on twitch was doing like 250 frames at 4k with a 4090.

My 4080 is gonna fucking feast with this bitch.
