It is very impressive what he's been able to achieve and he's been able to manage great advances in space travel, internet and electric cars.

But he does come off like a buffoon a lot of the time he posts. Perhaps it's intentional to generate interest in X? Who knows.

Also as someone pointed out above, he does have some links to some downright evil people like Putin.

Either way, I;d say he's been a net benefit to society ... so far.

Agreed, we're definitely in one of the bad timelines. In a good timeline we'll be getting games with the current tech while devs still got the sane mindset from decades ago. Instead now we reach a point where there's actually weirdos supporting these woke psychopaths which should have never reached this point in the first place. Could be worse I guess cause even though we got retarded woke sickos who would call people bigots, phobic this phobic that simply because we don't agree with their disgusting nasty ways. There's probably other equally as bad timelines in the multiverse where we'll have animal fuckers or pedos calling us these things instead.

Not a single preview of peoples playing dawnshore area has anything remotely agenda or woke. Previews just 3 months ago did not have pronouns in the character sheet. You don’t fundamentally change a game at this stage. If it’s so well hidden in preview or starting area and the cat comes out of the bag at launch, then that’ll be disappointing, but no need to go in fear mongering mode about what the game is based on social media. Lol, dude even shill up that massacred the game in his review didn't had the balls to say anything negative about the woke stuff at all.

I'm not saying that this one is gonna be as egregious as veilguard, but you really can't trust reviewers to tell you if a game is woke or not.

How in the hell is Obsidian hiding woke agenda for someone that clearly didn’t give a shit for editing the preview area? If they have something to hide, you would never see this. If they are hiding an agenda then they are masters of hiding it. You can always say well buggy loop, it might be right after the starting area.. ok maybe. If it comes to that then fuck the game and obsidian, but I’ve never seen a woke game with heavy agenda not having a whiff of it from the beginning. But I might be wrong. It’s certainly not material for me to throw the devs under the bus at this stage.

I’m really surprised to see long standing name posters react like this. Like if you had no interest in the game to begin with and didn’t bother to even visit the preview thread on preview day then that’s fine, but i did my due diligence before even bothering to spend my time calming things up.

Doesn’t mean the game is guaranteed to not be heavy woke agenda, but it’s not much to go on as of now. I think the 90 mins of speak for themselves, as of now, you’ll have a character creator that is woke, 100% certain, like they won’t remove non binary option this late, and pronouns on character sheet because of that choice you make on character selection. That’s it so far. That’s what we have. Maybe you don’t buy the game because of that, fine. I’m ok with it. See Baldur’s Gate 3, Starfield, Hogwarts legacy.

From what I've heard, the relationship is handled very well. It's not a race-swapping or a "woke" agenda thing. There was no SBI involvement afaik.

It’s a fantasy game with elves and giant cats and other made up races. Who knows what pronouns they actually use. If it’s like a Netflix or Amazon original production with forced scenes/writing that have no bearing on the plot and don’t fit the story, that’s one thing. If it’s just an option that means nothing after 30 seconds of choosing it, that’s another. Let the end product speak for itself instead of a single picture.

People are losing their mind over this, and then you can play something like BG3. You can make any combination of a person and have relations with almost anything that moves. So sexual relationships or character sexual identity aren’t the issue, it’s the pronoun. Do I support it, no. Do I care what other people do in their own lives, if it doesn’t harm me, also no. Who am I to force my beliefs, thoughts and opinions on another person. To make someone else live to my idea of what is normal and acceptable.

And, how others have pointed out, this isn’t the first game with this option. Some have even been extremely successful and popular. This one is a huge issue because Musk opened his mouth and people worship the ground he walks on.
