Works both ways. Sony is the bad guy for some here and they will believe anything that puts them in a negative light. So that really isn't much of an argument either way, is it?
The OP was asked some very direct questions about what he said about "mostly" paying for his games and he didn't answer them other than to say something about "none disc classics". Asked about that and still, no answer.
The pics he posted don't seem to be enough to warrant a permanent ban. If that was all he did then yeah, it sucks and was shitty for Sony to do that. But if you are going to come here and post about this stuff then best to have your story straight. The OP was all over the place and he got a lot of pushback because of that.
I agree. It’s pretty simple, post the original ban notice, post the response, post the pictures that “got you banned.” If OP had done that in the first place not many would have doubted him/her. OP was all over the place before posting the pics and still hasn’t really answered questions that were asked or taken advice to blow this up on social media. I believe OP might have stretched the truth a bit but that is just my opinion after reading the thread.
My takeaway is if you are going to come in hot like OP. Bring the proof upfront and don’t act shady (like suddenly having a different writhing style). That, or just post your warning to others that bans happen and move on. No big story or proof needed.
Regardless, I feel bad for anyone that loses their account. If it was me, I would probably take it to an attorney if I was really going to lose tens of thousands of dollars. If can afford that much each year on games it would definitely be worth it to pursue access to my account. Worst thing that happens is attorneys tell me to piss off. Best case, Sony eats crow.
