Wait - in what episode did they actually bury the treasure?
I can't remember seeing that at all.
Who was the guy who found Silver at the end of the episode? Do we know him, or is he a new character. Everyone grew beards between seasons and it is really throwing me off!

I believe it was the guy that cut off the ear earlier in the episode. That character wasn't a very smooth introduction, the "you might not remember me, but I've been here the whole time" intro was really odd.
I'm glad they've never messed around with the opening credits to the show. Best ones on tv currently.

Most people were a little cold on S1 until the end and loved S2/S3.I discovered this show a few months back and binged season 1 and 2. Loved season 1 but season 2 was kind of ridiculous. Not sure I'm in the minority on this, but was season 3 received well by Gaf?

I know that's how I was. It felt like another weird cable genre show, ala Da Vinci's Demons. Then at the end of season 1 the pirate politics started clicking. The season 2 premiere was a totally different, and much better show.
I thought I had everything covered in the OT, but dammit EW with their exclusive stuff. He's Israel Hands, a character from Treasure Island (). He's played by Irish actor David Wilmot.an evil bastard and one of Silver's loyal men
I wouldn't have read your OT anyways!I thought I had everything covered in the OT, but dammit EW with their exclusive stuff.
