CoD players requesting their personal information to find out their hidden sbmm stats

At some point, this 'game is against me' needs to stop. It's not healthy.

Source: https://www.ign.com/articles/call-o...so-they-can-find-out-their-hidden-sbmm-rating

popular Call of Duty YouTuber TheXclusiveAce exposed a method that will let players know their skill rating for every single Multiplayer game they've played going all the way back to 2021's Vanguard. However, it involves jumping through a few hoops and you'll have to wait a little while before you get the data.

The method involves heading over to Activision's privacy page and submitting a new personal information access request. You'll need to log into your Activision account to automatically include the various Call of Duty games, but once done, you can submit a request. IGN has gone through this process and can verify its legitimacy, although you'll have to wait a day or two for the data to arrive via email.

TheXclusiveAce received his data and, in his video on the subject, showed off just how extensive it is. It shows every single Multiplayer match in detail, down to the mode played, the map played, the operator and skin you used, and even the execution you had equipped. You can see the number of hits you landed in the match, your longest streak, damage done and taken, and, if you're interested, the percentage of time moving. Many more data points are included, but it's the skill stat that's of most interest here.

With his data, TheXclusiveAce was able to chart his Black Ops 6 skill rating, showing how it changed over time. TheXclusiveAce, who will be one of the better Multiplayer Call of Duty players around relative to the overall player base, has a skill rating of around 400 through the course of his time with Black Ops 6, although there are occasional sharp drops and rises.

From what he can tell, poor play relative to previous performance does reduce skill rating, and improved play relative to previous performance increases skill rating, although it can take some time to kick in either way. TheXclusiveAce suspects lobby skill rating impacts changes in individual skill rating; if the SBMM expects you to perform at a certain level relative to the lobby skill rating and you fail to meet that expectation, your skill rating might drop even if you had a good game.

isn't this kind of drama happens every year with this game?

Nah, Warzone & MP Ranked are indeed completely unplayable because of hackers. I don´t play them, so for me everything is fine. But if you are really into Warzone or Ranked this is a complete shitshow right now.

Sad Warzone is my favorite COD mode right now... has been for a while.

Still fun, just very frustrating at times.

I'm sorry but Activision need to fully ban cronus mods and other cheat methods.

Sucks that it would hamper people that may need it for adaptive controllers and stuff but it's ruining the experience for the other 99.?% of players that are just trying to play legit.

This is cool, thanks for posting. I'm off to get my data, then I'm coming back to talk some smack!

Fortnite has the same problem with zero build

It's amazing cod games keep getting hacked when they know a new one is coming out every year and it's sad I have COD4 on my Mount Rushmore of gaming.

Ah yes, the "skill based matchmaking" boogeyman.

The never ending cope of entitled shitters who can't handle the fact that they aren't even 1/10th as good as they think they are.

These sbmm toxic fucks are hilarious.

REEEEE my streamer audience can't follow me thinking i'm good

My only concern is why I can't log in and have this info presented? Why should it need an access to information request?

just drop the fucking game, last cod game i bought was mw2019 thinking it was going to be on a better track then they released warzone then all went to shit.

lol, this looks like Activision having to implement GDPR and as many companies instead of going through difficult split of EU/ROW operations just decided to standardise the system.

So yeah - you're welcome Americans. Kisses from Europe.

and yet XDefiant led with "no SBMM" and totally flopped

As much as people hate on Ubisoft.
They tried to give people the game they claim they wanted.........then they didnt play it.
In fact I think every CoD clone that got rid of everything people hate in CoD doesnt do particularly well.
TitanFall 1 (yes i know no PS version) people also didnt play that.
TitanFall 2 with its dumbed down MP(basically CoD4)........still people didnt play it.
The Finals.......I guess its closer to a small map Battlefield than a CoD alt.....but still, please play it.
BF2042..........here me out hear me out.............Redacted 24/7...........any Metro 24/7 brethren will appreciate this, and if you are new......join the ranks.

I think some gamers are actually just masochists.........

Meanwhile I love playing Atelier games.

Honestly SBMM in COD isn't really SBMM. It's more just psychology based match making to create engagement much like mobile games. Why would they track how much you moved? To put you in lobbies with campers. A game with many campers would become boring. It's about having the player get frustrated enough when they lose to want to play another game but not disillusioned enough from the losses to quit.

Sounds good, Psychological Matching System, PMS for short.

That's why they whitelist popular streamers so they're free to use all the hacks they need to make the game look good and why anti-cheat is a PR lie that does nothing.
Is this proven?
If so that's fucking hilarious gahaha

Pffff!…… I don't have to worry about shit like this…… I been a COD-GOD since MW way back on X360. I can't remember the last time I didn't go 3:1. That game is too easy these days.

I don't get it. What's the problem here?
No real issue. I think it's just gassed up rookies eager to see their K/D ratio…… I don't know why they wanna know. They all know I ruin people K/D for shits and giggles. Why would anybody want to see how many time I fucked them like a lil hoe with the custom DE their fave maps while they had their best load outs on fleek? . 🤷🏾‍♂️ . I would t want to know. But cool….. let em have it, I say. Let them see what they lack next to a COD God.

Really wish titanfall MP, resonated with players more and had Atleast rainbow six like numbers. Gamers don't know what's good for them. They gave us balanced weapons….. athletic map traversal…. And mechs…. Fucking mech…… and people still ran to COD.

After that I was convinced gamers don't know nothing about what's good for them. Seriously….well Balanced weapons…. 60FPS minimum….. mechs…… we used to dream of games being like this back in the 90s. Gamers are a bunch of spoiled brats with bad taste sometimes…. I swear. Titanfall was amazing in MP. It had pace, balance and the mecha were never out of place. I HATE that that game is not a success.
