Underperform is one thing, but AFKs in The Crucible are getting a bit rampant... had 2 in my Control team a couple nights ago go ~0/20.... we lost, obviously.

Nothing wrong with being bad, but purposeful AFK in PvP to get achievements/gear is wack as fuck IMO.

I think I'm starting to feel that MMO burn of doing things daily. Daily. Bounties. A few strikes or pvp. Done. New week. Repeat with weekly.

Today in specific? Okay, great.

I got a new Modem yesterday and was worried something is wrong. I'll try it again later tonight/tomorrow and see if things have improved. My connections to the game haven't been great.

I'm feeling positively about the future, though. If Bungie irons out some of these kinks, I could sink some serious time into the game. I just hope we're looking at some high-quality expansions and new raids.

I've been trying the stranger's rifle, I upgraded it a couple times and it's my favorite pulse rifle, but still too weak. it should be level 20 :p

Gonna knock out some earth beacons and then play crucible for a while if anyone wants to party up and see if we run into bungie.

They need to either incentivize playing well, or punish people who go AFK.

In the time it takes for you to get decent drops that actually mean something when you decrypt them, you could have easily gotten to vanguard/crucible/faction rank 2 with enough respective marks to buy legendary items your class can actually use (you can also pick armor that buffs up attributes you prefer.

25 Strkes done for one exotic bounty today, and now working on getting 200 kills in weekly nightfall for the last step of another one. Want my bounty slots back. :C

I had that issue a few days ago, I ended up just restarting my PS4 and it seemed to fix it. Probably a complete coincidence though.

Do it on a harder difficulty if you haven't already. Or try your luck with engrams?

Alternative is PvP. My buddy just got one.

Had a 2 man Fireteam (level 20 and 21) try the Weekly Herioc Strike/Angry and we got slaughtered, haha. I think we got up to the point where 4 Wizards spawn after a few waves of Knights, Thralls etc before we had to throw in the towel, we took out 3 of the Wizards before dying atleast. That was awesome, but shit that was tough, can't imagine how crazy it'd get when you reach Phogoth.

Likewise, anyone on 360 want to do daily or weekly? I'm down for both. Got to the boss of the Weekly once already but I was with two level 21s who were doing no damage x_x

I did it on Level 24 the first time, and the next highest difficulty will probably be way too hard. I guess I could try some engram farming, because I played a ton of PVP today and did well but didn't get much useful gear, mats or anything.

Got two legendary engrams today, got a legendary rocket launcher and pulse rifle. I wonder if Bungie did something or if I am just lucky beyond belief.

Someone else I know got a legendary today out of a legendary engram too.

The difference is, the coordination in the Destiny raid is minimal compared to WoW. The coordination you need for most fights is akin to say, The first boss of Blackwing Lair. And chances are, most of the fights will never have hard mechanics, because it's missing the big three.

And yes, from Burning Crusade onward it was true for WoW. The mechanics in BC are a deal more harder than Vanilla.

I got a purple engram going through the story mode randomly dropped, i hit the cryptograph and...... it gave me a legendary rocket launcher!!!! My first purple. Dat purple stuff is real.
